Scandal Alert: B&B's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood reveals how the damning proof against Steffy will be used against her

The Bold and the Beautiful shocked fans with the sudden death of Ashlyn Pearce's Aly last month, and the shocks just keep coming. Now comes word that Ashleigh Brewer's Ivy will use the damning video proof she has of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) murdering her cousin as a tool for blackmail. But what exactly does the scheming beauty want in return for keeping quiet?

CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful has been killer lately. Not only were viewers stunned with the sudden and unexpected death of Ashlyn Pearce's Aly, beloved character Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was the one who murdered her. And the twisted storyline just keeps getting more gnarly. Wood reveals that Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will use the videotape she has of Steffy murdering her cousin as a blackmail device. Oh, and it turns out Aly may not be as gone as everyone thinks...

As fans may recall, Steffy killed her mentally unstable cousin on a foggy stretch of road last month after Aly tried attacking her. Dazed by the sudden turn of events, Steffy told everyone that Aly had fallen and hit her head. And she still doesn't truly know whether or not she's telling a lie.

"It's a blur for her. Everything happened so quickly," Wood tells TV Insider. "Steffy doesn't know what's real and what's not. She can't begin to comprehend what really happened. It's like she's mentally checked out and gone into primal mode. She truly believes there's no way she killed Aly."

So her world will come crashing down around her on Friday, August 14, when she finds out Ivy caught the entire sequence of events on camera. "Ivy is driving down the road and comes across her best friend, Aly, attacking Steffy, and instead of trying to stop the fight she records it? Who does that?" the actress asks of the storyline twist. "It gets even crazier than that. Ivy will share the video with Steffy's brother Thomas [Pierson Fode] and promises to not go to the police if he makes sure she's the new face of Forrester Creations. So, basically, she's willing to hide the truth in order to be a model. That's blackmail. You'd think maybe she'd think big and use the video to blackmail her way into Steffy's job as president of Forrester. But to be a model? [Laughs] Listen, if Steffy had another tire iron right now, she'd be using it on Ivy!"
