B&B snags Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells

What could possibly be more entertaining than watching a stranded castaway try to make it home? How about watching Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells interact with the Forresters on The Bold and the Beautiful!

It looks like viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful are about to say ahoy to classic sitcom star Dawn Wells, who's bringing the charm she showed as Gilligan's Island's Mary Ann to the daytime drama.

TV Insider reports that the Nevada-born actress will be dropping by the CBS soap on Friday, February 19, as Alice, a posh Forrester Creations buyer and friend of Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his late wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery).

Wells's episode is said to coincide with a storyline twist in which Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) decides to reclaim his place at the Forrester mansion. Says a rep for the soap: "Ridge holds a cocktail party at the house and invites Alice and the company's other long-time vendors. But first, he takes down the portrait of Maya [Karla Mosley] that's been hanging on the wall and replaces it with the portrait of Stephanie."

As most viewers can guess, the painting swap definitely won't go over well with Ridge's brother/arch-rival, Rick (Jacob Young) -- who also happens to be Maya's super-protective hubby.

In addition to Gilligan's Island, Wells has starred on TV shows like Bonanza, The Love Boat, Growing Pains, and Pastor Greg.
