Hush, little baby, and don't say a word, guess what Soap Central just heard?
The Bold and the Beautiful's Nicole will be giving birth to Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya's (Karla Mosley) baby on Tuesday, May 17, and Emmy-nominated Reign Edwards will be performing an original song during the anticipated scenes. The song, a tune titled These Are the Moments, was written by B&B's music team (Bradley Bell, Casey Kasprzyk, and Anthony Ferrari) along with Edwards herself!
There are plans to make the song available for download, Soap Central has learned, but those plans have not yet been finalized.
As fans may recall, the show's music department took home the Daytime Emmy award for Best Original Song In A Drama Series this year with their tune Lost In Time. Meanwhile, Edwards -- who moonlights as a singer and musician when she's not at work at the CBS soap -- performed the National Anthem at a recent Major League Baseball game. Joining the two together will no doubt create another home run for the world's most popular soap. And with a huge upcoming twist to the pregnancy story, all we can say is "Let the games begin!"
