The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester; ex-J.R. Chandler, All My Children) recently announced that he has been taken off contract at the CBS soap, and it seems he's already making good use of his extra time: he has announced that he's going on the road this summer.
The Utah-based actor-turned-musician took to Twitter with the exciting news, revealing that he has teamed up with fellow musician Mark Anthony Castrillion for the tour.
"Going on the road this summer with my boy Mark Castrillion," he wrote. "Let me know when you want us to play in your town! DM me for bookings!"
A music tour is an ambitious undertaking, but that's not all Young has been up to since being taken off contract at B&B. In addition to having recently released a new single called "Fool For You," he's been in New Mexico filming a movie with his former on-screen AMC love Alexa Havins (ex-Babe Carey). You can learn more about the movie here.
"Nice to be working with Alexa Havins again," he shared on social media along with a photo of the pair's reunion. "Just like the days of AMC."
There aren't any additional details about Young's tour available at this time, but fans can catch the actor at the 2018 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He'll be at Roper booth, signing autographs and taking pictures at 10:15 AM.
