The Bold and the Beautiful's Joe LoCicero says he's grateful for his time as Vinny... even though it ended with the unfortunate incident of the character being mowed down and left on the side of the road to die!

If you're still questioning whether or not The Bold and the Beautiful's Vinny is really dead, maybe this will quiet the doubt in your mind: portrayer Joe LoCicero confirms that he has wrapped his time at the CBS soap opera.

In an exit interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actor reveals that viewers aren't likely to see his alter ego walking around Los Angeles again. But he does note that in this genre, flashbacks, evil twins, and other soapy twists are always on the table.

"I do believe I'm done filming but it is a soap opera so anything is possible," the actor says with a cheeky grin. "I always looked forward to getting those scripts because I never knew what Vinny would be getting himself into. I always appreciate having a space to grow, so if there was ever a home for me, and a home for growth, it was B&B."

LoCicero shares that, much like his fans, his real-life wife, Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez (ex-Beverly, B&B), was bummed about the fatal plot twist that B&B's writers penned for Vinny.

"I think she was a little sad that I was going to be off the show, because we really enjoyed watching it together," he shares. "But we were both really glad I had this time on the show. We're both thrilled that I had this great opportunity. I had such a good time. That cast and crew there is just wonderful. I learned so much. Oh, boy! Every time I went to set, I found little ways to improve. I couldn't be more grateful for this experience."
