Zoe Buckingham's exit from The Bold and the Beautiful wasn't as explosive as fans were hoping, but her final scenes did manage to bring some major emotion from Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), who was sad to see Zoe's portrayer, Kiara Barnes, leave the show.
When Barnes's final scenes aired on the Tuesday, July 6, episode, Saint-Victor took to Instagram with a heartfelt adieu to the actress he's shared a lot with in the last year, including fictional engagement snafus and wandering eyes -- from both sides!
"Big shout out to my homie @kiarabarnesofficial. This pic was taken right after the last scene we filmed together," Saint-Victor shares. "I have to tell you, the challenge of telling a love story, creating Chemistry, and building romance was extremely difficult during a global pandemic where we had to be 8 feet away from each other for most of our story, but knowing we had each other's backs, and that we can rely on each other, built so much trust, and such a fun and creative environment."
As Soap Central previously reported, Barnes chose to leave B&B after landing a leading role in the upcoming Fantasy Island reboot. In his goodbye message, Saint-Victor shared that he hopes the actress "kills it" on her new series, adding, "It's bittersweet to see you go, but I'm beyond proud of you."
Before making her acting debut on B&B in 2018, Barnes lived in New York City and modeled for major companies like DKNY, Maybelline, Sephora, Nike, and Adidas. She's also a budding musician, having released her first EP, Sirens to the Moon, on iTunes and Spotify in 2018.
