In the CEO’s office, Ridge was shocked that Carter thought he would just take the company from his family. “I’m not going to let it happen,” Ridge said. He fumed that Carter couldn’t just change a couple of pictures and sit behind the desk. Brooke asked what he was going to do.
Ridge thought Carter had his back and never saw the betrayal coming. “The only back he’s thinking about is Hope’s,” Ridge said. Brooke hated that Hope had any role in it. Ridge wanted to confront Carter but it had to wait as he needed a lawyer. “Carter’s not getting away with this,” Ridge told Brooke.
Ridge called Justin Barber to help. Brooke agreed that Justin would be able to figure out what Carter was trying to pull. “What Carter and Hope are trying to pull,” Ridge corrected. Brooke pointed out that if Steffy hadn’t fired Hope, then it wouldn’t have happened, but Ridge didn’t think there was any way to justify it. He didn’t care if Hope pulled Carter to the dark side or the other way around; Carter had gone off the deep end, and Ridge intended to put an end to it.
Justin entered the CEO’s office, and Ridge explained what was going on. “I can’t use my attorney, my trusted friend, because he’s the one behind the betrayal,” Ridge added. He asked Justin to look over the paperwork, find out what was going on, and then crush it. Ridge told Justin that Carter couldn’t get away with it.

At the cabin, Carter and Hope basked in the light of the fire after their passionate scene. Hope reminded him that he could now be in charge of Forrester Creations. Carter wondered if she was having second thoughts. “I’d do anything for you, Hope, but it’s also for me,” Carter said, noting he wanted to see the company reach its full potential. Hope told him that they still had time to change their minds as they were the only two who knew what they had done.
Carter said that out of everyone, Hope was the most hurt at Forrester. Hope and Carter carried on talking about their dreams of Forrester being a place where everyone is valued and respected. Hope said she couldn’t believe it had come to a coup. Carter couldn’t imagine how shocked and betrayed Ridge would feel if they went through with it.
In the design office, Ivy asked Electra about Remy. She said he was a sweet guy and specified that they were always just friends. Electra said seeing someone from home was great but reminded her of what she left behind.
Ivy agreed that what happened to Electra was awful and suggested she talk to a professional to help her heal through the trauma. Electra admitted that seeing Remy just brought back all the pain and embarrassment, though she felt guilty as it wasn’t Remy’s fault.
Ivy thought it was a crazy coincidence that Remy was in Il Giardino at the same time she was. Electra blew it off as she recalled what happened back home. She started to cry as she recounted how pictures of her were distributed. She showed the original picture and then cried that someone AI’d it to spread vulgar photos of her that were fake. Ivy gasped at what someone had done. “That’s my face, but that is not my body,” Electra cried.
Electra had no idea what was going on. She just saw the reactions and heard the whispers of people walking down the halls at school. When she saw the photos, she realized everyone thought she had taken the photos, and she didn’t. Humiliated and traumatized, she left town. Electra worried that if someone saw her in the press release, it could happen again, and more deep fakes could bring embarrassment and scandal to the family. Electra didn’t know how to tell Will about it.
Electra cried that her life was going so well, and for the first time in a long time, she felt like she could breathe. She worried that she could lose it all. Ivy promised to protect her. She wondered if Electra ever found out who did it, but she didn’t. Electra said she just wanted to put it all behind her.
At Il Giardino, Remy asked Deacon if it was always as busy as it was. Deacon noted a blogger had given them attention, but he was also short-staffed. “Can I get you anything?” Deacon asked. “How about a job?” Remy asked.
Deacon asked if Remy could deliver pizzas all over the city and return in time for the dinner rush. Remy thought he could try. Deacon admitted it was hard to get good help since Tom and Hollis. Remy told Deacon that he hadn’t been in L.A. long but wasn’t on probation or parole and had no intentions of taking off after being trained. “I plan on being here a while,” Remy told Deacon.
Remy told Deacon everything he wanted to hear. He said he’d work for room and board until he decided to hire him. Deacon gave Remy an apartment to live in above the restaurant and said he would give him a chance, and he just hoped he wouldn’t regret it.
