Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Electra Forrester always needs someone to talk to because her love for dreamboat Will is just so powerful, and she is so broken up by what happened to him that sometimes it seems like she is the victim here and not her boyfriend. Typically, Electra yammers on and on to Ivy, but occasionally Ivy is replaced by a contract player. In September, Hope stood in for Ivy and was Electra's listening ear. Today, it was oddly Daphne. And we had to question that. Have Electra and Daphne even shared scenes together? Have they ever even spoken? Having someone who is not an old and familiar character, and one who has never once been involved with this storyline, become Electra's confidante felt so weird that we were wondering if we were punked. We kept waiting for Daphne to pull off a mask and reveal Ivy. Like, where did Daphne even come from? Listening to her talk to Electra like they have been besties for years just felt so out of place and out of nowhere. The sad thing is, the young man, who is actually a victim of this crime, only has his parents to talk to. Nobody seems to ask poor Will how he is doing or feeling, except Katie and Bill. But everyone seems to give Electra a shoulder to cry on, which just adds to the weirdness of this very weird story.
