The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, August 13: Why is Kelly still in Los Angeles?

Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

We know what Steffy said when she announced her vacation plans to Liam, but does The Bold and the Beautiful know what she said? In case the show forgot, she said she was taking Kelly and Hayes with her. In fact, she was very specific about this more than once. And we know Steffy is gone because she said all of her goodbyes more than a week ago. And yet...Kelly is hanging out at Great Grandpa Eric's house and planning a wedding. So, where did she come from? Was she bored with her vacation? Did Steffy send her home on the Forrester jet? Did she argue with Steffy about going on another extended vacation because her mom was under too much stress? Is Hayes still in L.A., too? Will he soon show up out of nowhere, ready to make more origami? There are too many things that seem to happen without much thought on this show, including Eric wearing a ski vest in the summer in Italy. But Kelly's presence made us blink a few times and do a double-take. Is she staying with Ridge, Taylor, and Eric? Is that why Finn has so much time to solve medical miracle mysteries? Will she become a part of the story in future weeks? If not, then why isn't she off with her mom to parts unknown?
