Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
There are no two characters on soaps with less self-awareness or care for others than Ridge Forrester and his destiny, Brooke Logan Forrester. These two condescend to everyone, care about nobody but themselves, and think they are paragons of virtue when they are so clearly not. For their warm-up this month, they forced a retirement on Eric, and now they are driving Katie away from Forrester and can't really see why. Well, Brooke is starting to catch on, but Ridge is forever Ridge, clueless to the bone. And Brooke? Well, she is not a very good big sister at all. She had the nerve to tell the head of PR at Forrester Creations that they would of course, love to still hear her ideas. Her ideas? She has been running the department for years and now she is reduced to appreciated ideas? Really? Bill is right. Katie doesn't have to be a part of "The Brooke and Ridge Show" anymore if she doesn't want to be. They don't care what Katie thinks or feels, so why should she care one bit about them? Katie is constantly treated like an afterthought by everyone, and now she has the opportunity to run her own fashion house. So, run, Katie. Run far away from those terrible people and give them all a run for their money.
