Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Has there ever been a more stuck-up and condescending character on soaps who is portrayed as a selfless heroine than The Bold and the Beautiful's Steffy Forrester? Don't answer that, because the question was purely rhetorical. Steffy is indeed a b*&%$, even though we are not supposed to see her that way. And she certainly let the b*&%$ fly on the December 19th episode. She's in charge, she calls the shots, and if you don't want to listen, well, just too bad, so sad. And maybe she is in charge, but she could also be a little nicer about being in charge. and since she needed to point out that she made all the important decisions and not Hope, she certainly could have been the one to tell Deke that his services were no longer needed. But nope, she left the dirty work to Hope. But that's our Steffy. She has to always look good even if she's not, so why would she choose to be the one to break a young designer's heart? Clearly, it was beneath her to do anything that didn't make her come out smelling like a Daphne Rose perfume sample. We knew that Hope and Steffy's truce would never last, and we also knew that it would be Steffy's fault, as it always is. (She could have also minded her own business last year and Hope and Thomas would still be together.)
