Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
When Eric looked at a design in the showroom on the December 23rd episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we thought we were getting a new story in which a defiant Eric tried to show Ridge that he still had it after all. And we looked forward to it, as Eric's forced retirement still leaves a bad taste in our mouths. But it turned out that Eric's final design was couture Santa and Mrs. Claus suits, all to make Kelly and Hayes happy on Christmas Eve. Couture was also the name of the game all over Eric's living room as the privileged donned their formal best to sing songs and eat marshmallows at home. The bosoms were heaving, the piano was played, and toasts were made before Eric and Donna appeared in costume, completely fooling Kelly and Hayes. While everything was merry and bright, it still felt kinda off. There was Carter, the man who stole Forrester Creations earlier this year, giving a toast and counting his blessings. Brooke and Ridge reveled in their love, but where is the story and what comes next? Is this all we will see from Eric and Donna from now on? Is Eric really going to retire? We still say he needs to design for Katie if Ridge won't let him design for his own company, cause he sure makes a mean Santa suit.
