The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, December 3: Eric, are we really doing this again?

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Didn't we already live through a storyline in which Eric was feeling useless and wanted to design couture again for Forrester Creations, and Ridge thought that was foolish? If we recall, that was just two years ago, and yet it appears we are about to do it all again. The last time we sat through this, Eric was dying, but we are not sure that is what is happening this time. Eric just seems bored since he has spent almost the entirety of the last year trying to push Brooke and Ridge back together. Now that it's mission accomplished on that front, Eric clearly has nothing to do, so he is flashing back two years. And of course, Ridge does not want his father interfering. He might even once again decide that Eric lost his touch and is not a top designer anymore. Are we going to end up with another fashion showdown that Ridge allows Eric to win so he feels good? If so, we may as well just press rewind and play on the last one and ignore the parts where Eric starts coughing up blood due to a mystery illness. Now, if Eric has the illness too, then this really will be a case of deja vu. However, if we do have a recurrence of an illness
