Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
We won't mince words here. Brooke truly is a piece of work. Last week, we weren't quite sure who to side with in the 'Logan' name war, but we are firmly on Team Katie. The way Brooke is making scene after scene about Katie daring to use HER name, which, by the way, is also Katie's name, is insane. First, the name Logan is one of the most common surnames around, so neither Brooke nor Katie has the exclusive right to it, even morally, much less legally. And second, Katie is absolutely correct that Logan is nothing more than a pet name that Brooke's husband calls her. She is not known as just Logan to anyone else, including the world. She is Brooke Logan. And her sister is Katie Logan. And if Katie Logan wants to use her last name for her new company, then she should be able to. After all, Brooke's copyright on the name had expired, and Liam (Brooke's own son-in-law, again) snagged it. Plus, the way Brooke spoke to Katie was pretty gross. Brooke clearly thinks she is better than everyone else (kinda like Steffy, which is likely why they don't get along), so why wouldn't Katie spend her life admiring all things Brooke? Maybe Katie is right. Maybe Brooke just doesn't like that Katie finally has Bill all to herself after all these years.
