The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, December 31: Katie read Brooke for filth...and we cheered

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

It's always rubbed us the wrong way how Katie Logan so easily forgave her sister for the egregiously wrong act of sleeping with her sister's husband. What Brooke did to Katie when she had sex with — and later married — Bill was beyond the pale. Brooke has never cared about the sanctity of anyone's marriage or relationship aside from her own (many, many) marriages. When an aggrieved and offended Katie had enough of Brooke's condescending attitude and insistence that nobody else dare use the name "Logan" and tore into Brooke, all we could do was cheer her on. Brooke has been treating Katie terribly for weeks, first by trying to patronize her after Forrester Creations hired a new PR firm, and then by telling her that the only reason she wanted to use "Logan" for her new fashion house is that she was jealous of Brooke. Well, Katie turned the tables big time and called Brooke out on a litany of horrible things she has done, including the aforementioned affair that Brooke had with Bill all those years ago. It was Brooke who was jealous of Katie and wanted the man Katie had, and now Katie has that man again. Maybe Brooke should go home to her own husband and think about what Katie said. But we don't expect her to realize that Katie was right.
