Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

We often have to ask what is wrong with the (fake) people on The Bold and the Beautiful. Some of them just seem like terrible people who appear to never see outside their own bubble, with Brooke and Ridge being the two biggest culprits. Well, here we are again as these two vapid people decide to force Eric to retire whether he likes it or not. And they had us agreeing with sad-songer Daphne. She is the only one who made a lick of sense as she tried to explain to them how to be decent human beings, aka how other cultures treat their elders — with dignity and respect. Ridge and Brooke shrugged her off, waved their hands, and essentially rolled their eyes. They had decided that Eric needed to retire and that was that. They even wrapped their little push-out up with balloons, a banner, and some chocolate cake. Surely, that will make Eric see they were right? Their own mini grand soiree right in Eric's office. We're surprised they didn't hand him his stapler as a parting gift. They reasoned that Eric nearly died two years ago when he was designing, so he shouldn't design anymore. Well, A-that was two years ago, so why are they concerned now, and B-he almost died from a mysterious blood disease that had nothing to do with his work habits. Nahh, Ridge and Brooke just want to be in charge so they are telling themselves they are good people doing the right thing when they are actually absolutely awful.
