The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, January 12: So much for Daphne not being the rebound girl

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful's Daphne Rose impressed us so much last week that we were cheering her on. She wasn't going to be anyone's sloppy seconds and gently explained to Carter that he just can't propose to any woman who glances at him and smiles. Then, Carter got down on one knee and proposed as he is apt to do, and all of Daphne's senses went straight out the window. Carter even had a ring ready. All we can do is assume he has a collection he keeps in a drawer and always has one handy in his pocket in case he might need one. Surely, he did not actually plan that impromptu proposal for any time soon. But he had that ring ready because Boy Scouts are always prepared, right? Maybe that's why Daphne found him so hard to resist and dropped all her rules just for a man who can't stop proposing to women he never ends up marrying. And Carter? He never felt this way about another woman and remembers everything about the day he met Carter. That was during his recent Hope era, when he had never felt that way about another woman. My, how things change in a flash for Carter. But he learned from the master, didn't he? BFF Ridge recently dumped Taylor and married Brooke after the commercial break, with Carter officiating, of course.
