Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
We are not sure what The Bold and the Beautiful was thinking when it decided Taylor and Deacon needed some insta-love, but that is what we have now, and it makes no sense whatsoever. After a few very brief therapy sessions (as therapy sessions often are), Deacon is suddenly head over heels for Taylor when he moved heaven and Earth to find his beloved Sheila, who everyone else thought was dead, not even two years ago. He then married her against everyone's wishes. Heck, Hope even threatened to kick him out of her life. But now, since she kept contact with someone who killed the best friends he barely knew (who happened to be Sheila's granddaughter), Deacon is now rethinking all of it and decided Taylor is the one for him. And Taylor? Wasn't she just proposing to Ridge and making wedding plans just a few short months ago? Now she can't keep her mind off Deacon, of all people? Make it make sense. We can understand Steffy's shock after eavesdropping (as this is the Eavesdropping Soap). Who would ever expect her mother to suddenly have feelings for Deacon out of nowhere? Not Steffy. And not us. But here we are with another insta-love story that makes us want to yawn. We are sure this little arc won't last long, but for now, we just have to suffer through it.
