Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Why did we spend half an episode listening to Bill beg people for permission to see Liam...who are...ummm...not related to Liam. Why did Taylor and Ridge have a say in whether a father can see his own son, even if that father did something incredibly stupid earlier this year by letting Luna loose in Los Angeles to kill or almost kill some more? We agree that Liam wouldn't be in the hospital with a gunshot wound if Bill hadn't helped get Luna a pardon, but he is still Liam's next of kin, and he didn't need to ask anyone's permission to see his son, except the hospital staff. Watching Ridge essentially chase Bill through the hospital and shove him into an empty room to forbid Bill from seeing Liam was laughable. Even with all the guilt he was feeling, the Dollar Bill we always knew would never let Ridge, of all people, tell him that he can't see his own kid. Steffy was no better, also declaring that Bill can't see Liam, but she needed to add that Liam didn't tell Bill about his tumor because he didn't trust or like Bill, which we knew was not true. At least Hope tried to be more diplomatic about things. In the end, it was Hope and Steffy who technically should not have been visiting Liam, since they are not related to him, but why split hairs, right?
