The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, July 18: Bill needs to make a few phone calls

Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

While what happened to Liam this week at the hands of a VERY shady Grace Buckingham was beyond strange, it was even stranger and kinda exasperating to listen to the FC crew lament Liam's plight while a miracle took place in a Spencer mansion bedroom. While it was nice of Bill to call Steffy and let her know where Liam was, perhaps he could have told his other son that his brother would live. Poor Will broke down crying in his mother's arms cause Bill couldn't pick up the phone and make a simple call or send a simple text. For a man who wanted to prove himself as a dad this week, he seemed to miss the basics. Meanwhile, Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor showed some rare maturity for their grandparent ages and debated not even going to Italy so they could be there for their grandchildren in case Liam's expected death was ill-timed. When Taylor made the suggestion, we half expected Brooke to have a conniption because that was her chance to be alone with Ridge (and Nick), but she agreed. Too bad she didn't have to agree because Liam was expected to make a full recovery despite a bullet in his chest and (alleged) tumor in his brain just the day before. Liam is a true medical miracle man (maybe), but Bill really, really needs to pick up the phone.
