Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
When The Bold and the Beautiful decided to make Brooke and Taylor BFFs after decades of fighting over Ridge, it actually worked because Ridge had just dumped both women, before leaving town to decide which one he wanted. They were sick of it, as we all were. They were even fun BFFs, but for Hope and Steffy, it just doesn't work. They have definitely tried the BFF/step-sisters/sister wife thing before, and it just falls flat. Watching Steffy gush over Hope For the Future while telling Hope what a great job she was doing was like eating saccharine — that is to say, eww, and just no. Not only did we have to witness that, but we also got to see brand-new besties Sheila and Li gush over how great the other is. Li couldn't wait to hear all about her new best friend's marriage and love life. She is so happy for the woman who once ran her into the ocean and left her for dead. The same woman who had an affair with Li's husband. And also the same woman whose face Li smashed into a plate of spaghetti and meatballs two years ago. But, we weren't done. Then, Taylor showed up, and the sugar (not that Sugar) was enough to make our teeth fall out. It was like watching a bizarro soap and we just wanted everyone to return to normal.
