Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Taylor Hayes is not a very good therapist, and that might be a reason why Deacon just can't stay away. First, why did she initiate a hug with her patient? That crossed the line during their very first session and may be why Deacon is feeling an attachment to her, a bond, we might say. And not a trauma bond. We are also not sure that Taylor's assertion that Deacon is trauma-bonded to Sheila is the correct diagnosis. What did Sheila actually do to traumatize Deacon? She hid the truth from him for a few weeks? Who on soaps does not do that with their spouse at least 10 times? Sheila kept the same basic secret twice, and it's not even the worst secret anyone has ever kept. That would not result in a trauma bond, no matter which way you slice it. Now, Deacon thinks that Taylor can see into his soul, but why? What deep insight has she given him that is actually correct? She even talks about him with the woman he is allegedly trauma-bonded to. Sure, she tells Sheila that she can't do to doctor-patient confidentiality, but then she says too much anyway. Perhaps it's time for Dr. Hayes to take down that shingle and call it a day before she misdiagnoses some other patient sometime soon.
