The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, October 31: How much more ridiculous can Electra get?

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Electra might be one of the most one-dimensional young heroines we have ever seen on soaps. Most of the time, she stands around the design office looking at jewelry and talking about her dreamy boyfriend to Ivy. For months, we had to hear just how incredible Will Spencer was and how she was saving herself for him till the moment was perfect. In general, Luna is just happy and sweet and in her own little world — unless Luna is involved, of course. Heck, she even feels connections to people she has known for five minutes. When Electra announced that she felt like she and Deke had been friends forever after sharing three scenes together, all we could do was laugh. She must have been taking lessons from Daphne, who fell in love with Carter Walton after a few meetings in Eric's office. Yes, this was the setup for Electra to learn that Deke is dating her former childhood BFF and stalker, Remy Price. In fact, the Remy reveal was more ridiculous than Electra herself, with all these characters standing there with smiles on their faces and breathless anticipation to meet someone's boyfriend. When Electra saw Remy, we thought she'd get the vapors and need smelling salts, as that is the type of damsel heroine that she is.
