Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

For the last few months, Ivy Forrester has served no other purpose but to be a talk-to for her niece, Electra, on The Bold and the Beautiful. Once a vibrant, front-burner character, Ivy has had no moments herself except a few scenes with Liam last month, where she learned that Liam still wanted Hope. Suddenly, Ivy seems to have been replaced as the Electra talk-to — by Hope. Yes, for two days, Hope has been Ivy's stand-in as Electra has gone on and on about how dreamy Will is and how she can barely believe she ever landed such a man. All Hope could do was smile and encourage Electra, agreeing with every word she said, just as Ivy had been for months. In fact, we had to wonder if Hope's lines were originally written for Ivy, but Ashleigh Brewer had a scheduling conflict, so Annika Noelle had to step in. And why is Hope sitting in the design office chatting with Electra anyway when she doesn't even have her own line anymore? What happened to her own storyline with Liam pining for her and Carter wanting to elope right away? And oh yeah, Thomas. He's back and hasn't even shared scenes with Hope because he's too busy crying about his parents not getting married, and Hope is too busy giving advice to Electra like a common Ivy Forrester.
