Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Everyone seemed to know this was coming, except Taylor Hayes. And we don't know why. How many times has Ridge dumped Taylor for Brooke in the past? Way too many times to count. The last time Ridge and Taylor were together was after a misunderstanding with Brooke, and nothing changed for their 2025 reunion. Taylor degraded herself the moment Ridge "chose" her, literally five minutes after a fight with Brooke. She was barely out of the driveway before Ridge was upstairs with Taylor in bed. That should have been Taylor's first clue that this was never going to work out. Instead, when Ridge told her that he couldn't marry her, Taylor was stunned. And then she begged. The same way Brooke has been begging. And all we have to ask is WHY?!??! What is so appealing about a man who has been waffling back and forth between the same two women since the 1990s? Why would any woman in their right mind subject themselves to this? In 2023, Brooke and Taylor had had enough and decided to be done with Ridge for good. It was the most refreshing thing we had seen on soaps in years, and then it was all ruined for no good reason. If Taylor manages to convince Ridge to change his mind and set a wedding date, we will have even less respect for her than we do now. Let him go, Taylor. Just...let him go...
