With 2026 right around the corner, it's almost time for people to make their New Year's resolutions. It's common to enter the new year wanting to make significant life changes, and perhaps nobody needs to make major alterations more than the characters on The Bold and the Beautiful. Every prominent family on the show has at least one issue preventing them from living a fully peaceful life, and it's time they get out of their own way. Some of these issues are deeply ingrained in these families' fabric, so it will take a great deal of willpower to break the habits.
The Forresters - Tone Down the Arrogance

Ridge is the biggest family offender of this trait, and he could benefit the most from making this change. He needs to head into the new year with a new lease on life, because right now, his attitude is horrible, and he makes everything about himself. Ridge’s arrogance has reached new heights, somehow surprising his already overly inflated ego. He believes that his word is gospel, and whatever he thinks is best for everyone is what they should do. The way he pushed Eric out of the company that he founded is a glaring example of this.
2) The Spencers - Learn the Power of Waiting

This year, the Spencer men were far too impulsive and made every decision with their hearts rather than their heads. Both Bill and Liam fast-tracked their reunions with their former wives, and a hot second after they were back together, wedding vows were being exchanged. The Spencers allow no room for everything to breathe, and that needs to be worked on. Also, the impulsivity extends beyond holy matrimony, as Bill absolutely did not think through the full undertaking of buying Katie her own fashion house. He led with his heart, and now Katie may be in way over her head.
3) The Logans - Learn How To Share the Spotlight

The entire storyline about Brooke and Katie fighting over the ability to use the Logan name is ridiculous. There is plenty of room in the fashion industry for both sisters. Brooke has been synonymous with the name for decades, but she is also closely connected to the Forrester name. If anything, the public views her as more of an appendage of the famous fashion family than anything else. Katie is just now venturing out onher own, and she should be able to use the name. The Logan sisters need to embrace the art of sharing and let each other shine.
4) The Sharpes - Rely Less On Therapy

Normally, going to therapy should improve someone's life and give them the tools to thrive in the real world. However, for Deacon and Sheila, it has somehow created a more toxic environment. Deacon clearly has feelings for Taylor, and although she's maintained a professional distance, they've crossed ethical boundaries on numerous occasions. Sheila, on the other hand, gives Taylor far too much credit for saving her marriage and borderline obsesses over the work the good doctor has done. The couple needs to take a breather from professional help and look within to find a way to handle their everyday issues.
5) The Nozowas - Let Go Of The Past

It feels like a pipe dream to suggest that sisters, Poppy and Li, find a way to work through their issues. They've been at odds since the moment viewers were first introduced to Poppy. With Luna dead, it would be nice for the family if they could find a way to make peace. There's been enough pain and suffering, and letting go of their lifelong feud could begin the healing process. Neither is featured often on the canvas, but hopefully the next time they appear, Li and Poppy have found a way to put the past behind them and carve a path forward.
