The Bold and the Beautiful's Bill Spencer had a reckoning this week as he realized his own poor choices had led to so much destruction to his family in a short amount of time. From anger to anguish, Don Diamont delivered in spades, earning him this week's Soap Central Performer of the Week honors.

Bill's shock and horror

As the week began, Bill was still absorbing the fact that the girl he had so much faith in was alive — and she had violated his son, leading to a pregnancy. As Luna's (Lisa Yamada) delusional little self prattled on and on about having a precious Spencer baby created from her warped version of love, you could see the anger rising within Bill. He even went so far as to order Luna to have an abortion.

Diamont had to stay both contained and enraged at the same time as Bill tore into Luna like never before. He was towering and threatening, but at the same time, we knew he wasn't going to hurt this girl, despite what his eyes and tone of voice said. Bill's anger came from deep shame and sadness, which he later expressed to Katie.

Finally, Bill was forced to acknowledge that absolutely none of this would have happened if he hadn't been foolish enough to get Luna out of jail, releasing her back into society. If Luna were still behind bars, she wouldn't have shot one of his sons and sexually assaulted another.

Bill was so furious with himself that he actually suggested killing Luna, so Katie (Heather Tom) had to talk him down from the ledge. Diamont then brought out Bill's tender side when his Katie's love shone through. Katie didn't mean to make Bill sentimental, but he did. He was also forced to accept when Katie told him it wasn't the right time to talk about their relationship, while their son's life was a mess.

Diamont took Bill through an emotional journey throughout the week with ease. He knows Bill inside and out, with all his flaws and deep feelings buried beneath the bravado, and showed us who that character was this past week.
