The Bold and the Beautiful's Steffy was in peril again, something that seems to happen to her often. Steffy had to deal with Luna Nozawa threatening to kill her while wearing the same outfit she wore when Luna did the same thing last summer. However, this time, a very shocking person had her back. Through it all, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood conveyed everything Steffy was feeling while barely saying a word, and that's why she earned Soap Central's accolades as The Bold and the Beautiful's Performer of the Week.
Deja vu for Steffy — with a twist

Steffy should have known that she was walking right into a trap the second she entered that beach house, but she had no clue what was in store. Even when Luna first appeared, she didn't realize that the deranged young woman had lured her there. However, as their conversation progressed, MacInnes Wood showed us Steffy's slow realization that she was in much more trouble than she thought.
When Sheila burst through the door, the horror on Steffy's face told us she thought she was in double trouble, but then came sheer confusion. Why was Sheila telling Luna to stand down? Why was she asking her not to hurt Steffy when Steffy believed Sheila lived for hurting her?
MacInnes Wood didn't tell us Steffy's reaction to this surprising turn of events. She told us without ever going over the top. Her lip subtly quivered as her eyes widened, but not obviously so. When Sheila made eye contact with Steffy to tell her that she was on her side, the look of understanding on Steffy's face was combined with one of pure shock. This standoff with Luna wasn't going as she expected at all.
All hell breaks loose on The Bold and the Beautiful

As Luna's plan went off the rails and gunshots rang out, Steffy didn't know what to do. MacInnes Wood allowed Steffy to keep her cool until the moment Liam barreled into the room and Luna finally used her target practice skills on Steffy's ex-husband.
The scene on The Bold and the Beautiful quickly became chaotic, but MacInnes Wood made sure Steffy was still Steffy as she ordered Finn to just do something and save Liam rather than look around wondering what to do. When Steffy got out of the beach house and made it to the hospital, Steffy truly found her voice again as she prayed for Liam's life. But her facial expressions were still on point, especially when Steffy heard Poppy say that she was glad that Luna was dead.
MacInnes Wood ran the gamut of emotions all week long while staying true to her character every step of the way.
