The Bold and the Beautiful's Sheila Carter had quite a week — and it was a good week. Sheila was a shiny, happy person each and every day, which meant Sheila seemed like a new person. And Kimberlin Brown appeared to relish every second of playing Sheila with a smile, earning her the title of Soap Central's B&B Performer of the Week.

We got to see a very natural side of Sheila this week as she wasn't hiding any secrets or cooking up any menacing schemes. Instead, she was delighted to be treated like the hero she now is. Deacon (Sean Kanan) offered his wife the royal treatment, as did her employees at Il Giardino, but when Li (Naomi Matsuda) showed up and was begrudgingly kind to Sheila, Brown delivered a Sheila who was genuinely shocked and humbled. However, you could see that she was still on guard.

Sheila listened to what Li had to say with a bit of trepidation. When they both spoke of Luna (Lisa Yamada), both women showed a genuine sadness, but Sheila's sadness was mixed with a subtle sense of relief. Someone actually saw in Luna what she saw, so she had someone to commiserate with.

Sheila's reaction to Li's visit was nothing compared to the one Brown showed us when Finn (Tanner Novlan) showed up. Sheila tried to stay reserved at first, telling Finn that she did what any decent human being would have done. And that is where Brown created a whole new Sheila with one sentence. This was a Sheila who has shown genuine growth and understanding. A Sheila with a sense of self-awareness, something she'd always been severely lacking.

The next day, Brown brought out Sheila's quirky sense of humor when she visited Liam (Scott Clifton) and made sure to show him why she's called Sheila Eight Toes now. If you can't laugh at your own life troubles, then what can you laugh at, right?

Sheila also realized that being a good person and doing the right thing actually does pay off. Brown's more mellow Sheila did everything she could to keep her emotions in check when Steffy thanked her, and it became clear that she might have a chance to be in Finn and Hayes' lives after all.
