The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, August 11, 2025: Luna wakes up, and so does Bill's temper

In the CEO’s office, junior assistant to the jewelry line Electra, and her intern boyfriend hung out. They talked about Luna and the shooting, and Will told Electra that if Liam had died from his gunshot, he would have felt responsible for not stopping Luna when he had the chance.

Ivy came in and asked if it was true that Liam was going to survive and Will happily confirmed. Ivy cried tears of joy and expressed her relief and gratitude that he was going to live. Electra could relate, knowing that Luna was out of their hands forever.

Across the hall in the design office, Bill continued to gush to Katie about how Dr. Grace Buckingham saved Liam’s life until Liam called. Liam asked his dad to come home because he had something to tell him in person. “On my way,” Bill replied.

At the Spencer mansion, Liam continued to struggle with his rage as he and Hope recounted how they thought he was dying, and that Grace had scammed them all. Liam got a text from Finn that Grace had turned herself in at the police station.

Hope told Liam that what Grace put him through was unforgivable, but the important thing was that he was okay. They noted that her scamming Bill out of a million dollars wasn’t going to go over well. Liam told Hope to brace herself because his dad was going to go nuclear when he found out.

Bill came home, and Liam told him the whole story, starting with Finn’s suspicions that the miracle treatment was too good to be true. “He was right, it was unbelievable… because it wasn’t true,” Liam said.

At first, Bill thought Liam meant that he still had the tumor and the surgery didn’t work. Liam and Hope clarified that he had had a brain bleed months earlier, but everything else was a scam to get money for a miracle cure. They explained that Grace needed to pay one of Reese’s debts, and Bill was seething realizing that it was the same issue and person that hurt them earlier. They told him how Grace thought her daughters were in danger. “She came after my child instead?!” Bill fumed.

Liam reiterated that he was fine and explained how Grace gave him medicine that mimicked the symptoms of brain cancer. “She hurt you. She hurt all of us. That bitch is gonna pay. She’s gonna pay dearly. Grace Buckingham will wish she never met me,” Bill growled.

At Li’s, Sheila was shocked to find her granddaughter alive and wanted to know why she saved Luna. Li explained that when the three of them were brought into the hospital with gunshot wounds, Sheila was under Grace’s care, and Finn was saving Liam, leaving Li and Bridget with Luna. Li said that knowing Luna’s life was in her hands caused something to shift in her, looking at her niece/granddaughter.

Li added that she wondered if Luna could be forgiven after all. “Every child is born innocent,” Li said, but growled that her drug-infested sister didn’t give Luna the stability she needed. She said she decided to save her and give her the chance to rehabilitate. “You saved my granddaughter’s life,” Sheila repeated in wonder.

Li noted that the hospital was overwhelmed with three shootings at one time, and she was able to slip Luna away and bring her home. Li worried that Luna had been unconscious for so long that it might be too late.

Sheila was sure that Luna would pull through, and she’d save her just like she did with Finn. Li made Sheila promise not to tell anyone, and then she asked for a moment with Luna. Sheila spoke to Luna, asking her to wake up. As she held her hand, Luna’s fingers twitched. Sheila gasped to Li that she thought Luna was waking up. With both of them at her side, Luna’s eyes fluttered open slowly. She nodded as she saw Sheila and Li there, telling her that her grandmothers were there for her.
