The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, August 14, 2025: Luna's reformed, and Brooke wants a commitment — but not from her fiancé

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In the CEO’s office, Brooke told Katie that Nick proposed and she accepted. Katie noted Brooke wasn’t wearing the ring, but Brooke explained that Nick was keeping it until he returned to town. She was flattered that he would want to propose, and part of her did actually love him. “But we both know the man that you really want is Ridge,” Katie added.

At Li’s, Luna woke up and told her grandmothers that she woke up feeling the love and was already the person they had hoped she would become. She promised no more resentment or anger was in her now that she got all that she ever wanted, the love of her family. Luna said she woke up thinking about it. Well, that and one other person. Sheila wondered what she meant.

Li helped Luna out of bed as Sheila repeated that Li was Luna’s family. “I want more than anything to be a Finnegan. I want to see my dad,” Luna told her. Li said that it might happen eventually, but not yet. “But Finn’s not the only one you want to see, is he?” Sheila asked as Luna giggled.

Li told Luna there were things to discuss before she could see anyone. Listening to Sheila and Luna talk, Li realized that Luna had a crush on Will Spencer. “The last thing you need to be thinking about is boys, Luna,” Li said with an admonishing tone. “Especially Will Spencer!” she added while glaring at Sheila to scold her for encouraging Luna. Later, Luna had flashbacks to when she kissed Will. She said to herself with a smile that that kiss could’ve brought her back to life.

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge was deep in thought when Taylor came into the living room. She gushed about their family and love, and was hoping he’d return the sentiments, but could tell he had a lot on his mind. Taylor reiterated that she knew that saving Brooke from drowning had a profound effect on him, but asked him to assure her that it didn’t change anything for them and their future.

Ridge didn’t really answer, but Taylor continued to ramble about how she wanted to plan the wedding and was never taking off the ring he gave her, even if it was what Eric wanted. She suggested they live somewhere else, but Ridge thought it was fine to stay. Ridge said he had to go to the office for a bit. Taylor kissed him passionately, told him she loved him, missed him, and couldn’t wait to have a homecoming in bed when he got back.

After Ridge left, Katie went to the Forrester mansion. She said that Brooke might not be alive if not for Ridge. Taylor wondered what message Katie was really there to give, noting that she was proud of her fiancé. Taylor added she was glad Brooke was okay, but that Ridge was lucky to have her to help him have perspective, as he was prone to dive into unsafe situations, like being involved with Brooke.

Katie argued that Brooke was smart, but Taylor said she should know to move on from Ridge. Katie told Taylor that Brooke didn’t think Ridge had moved on from her. Taylor replied that Ridge had broken the cycle and now wanted a solid foundation in his relationship with her. “He could have that with Brooke,” Katie countered. “But has it ever led them to lasting happiness? No, it only leads to pain and disillusionment,” Taylor told her. Taylor was sure that Ridge going back to Brooke would never happen.

Back at the office, Brooke relived the moment that she awoke in Ridge’s arms on the boat after he saved her and how he told her that he would never take her for granted again and would make things right. Ridge walked in and said, “Logan,” to snap her out of her thoughts. Brooke said she was thinking about Italy. She wondered if he had been at Eric’s, and if he saw Taylor. “Did you have a chance to tell her about what happened in Naples?” Brooke asked.

Ridge fumbled that Kelly was at the mansion, and it wasn’t the right time to get into things with Taylor. “When are you going to tell Taylor?” Brooke asked. She told him that Nick was just there, and he showed her an engagement ring. “Why are you telling me all this?” Ridge asked. Brooke reminded him that he told her he couldn’t lose her. “You told me you’re going to make this right. When?” Brooke pleaded.

Brooke told Ridge that Nick was going to propose the day of the boat accident. Ridge relived it and said he thought he’d lose her forever when he saw her fall into the water. Brooke said he saved her life and didn’t want to lose her again, and she was right there in front of him. “If you can’t take that ring off Taylor’s finger and if you can’t come back to me–” Brooke started to say. Ridge stopped her by grabbing her and hugging her.

In the design office, Electra told Will that she knew other women wanted him, but that she wasn’t insecure. She was just…worried. He assured her that he understood what she went through with Remy had an impact on her sense of self-security, but that he was never one of those people who saw her deep fakes and believed that she would do something like that. He told Electra that he loved her.

Electra said that she hadn’t had serious relationships before, like Will had. She knew that having sex was going to be amazing one day. “I will be ready…maybe soon,” she suggested. Electra told Will that she wanted him, and it was hard to wait. “But this was never just about Remy. I never told you this, but when I was younger, my parents got divorced because my dad was cheating on my mom,” Electra added. She said that it scarred her. Will assured Electra that it was something she didn’t need to worry about because there was no one else.

Electra and Will made out in the design office, and she told him he was a good kisser. Will wanted to take it further and told her to tell him when she was ready, as he already was.
