What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In the design office, a confused Will clarified with Electra that she never came back to his room in the masquerade mask that she had been wearing earlier at the party. Electra told Will that she had texted him after she left and reminded him that tonight was going to be “their night.” Electra told Will how attractive the night before, and said that Laney must have noticed, too, because she was heavily flirting with him. Electra had to get back to work and told Will she’d see him later that evening.
After Will left, Ivy came in. While she and Electra worked on some jewelry, she asked how Will was doing. Electra laughed that he was definitely hungover, but good. “Apparently, he was so out of it last night, he thought I came back to the party,” Electra told her. Ivy and Electra discussed again about how she waited to have sex, but shared she was ready to be intimate with Will that night.
Downstairs, Will ran into Laney. He asked if she had a good time the night before, and she replied she did, especially at the after-party. Laney clarified that she went somewhere else, and assumed that he had his own after-party with Electra. Laney noted that Electra was a lucky girl. Laney left, and Will had flashbacks to having sex with someone in Electra’s mask. “Who are you?” he wondered.
At Li’s, Sheila asked a grinning Luna what she did. When Sheila realized Luna had sex with Will, Luna smiled happily and said, “It was absolutely incredible, Grandma.” Sheila wasn’t pleased that Luna snuck into the party, noting that no one was supposed to know she was alive. “And no one will…not even Will,” Luna smirked. “How’s that even possible?” Sheila asked. She sternly told Lunat to tell her everything that had happened the night before.
Luna told Sheila how she snuck out and worked at the party behind the bar, found some crazy strong liquor, and mixed it into Will’s vodka sodas. She noted that she didn’t plan anything; the night just unfolded and ended up with her in Will’s bed.
Luna explained that Electra, or “Miss Priss” as she called her, left early, and she could tell that Will had a lot of pent-up frustration. She saw Deacon take Will upstairs, grabbed Electra’s mask, and slipped into his room. She noted that Will was drunk, but it was still amazing. Sheila was aghast that Luna had sex with Will, and he thought she was Electra because she was wearing her mask, but Luna didn’t care. She said she only needed one night with him, and that this could change everything.
In the CEP’s office, Carter asked Hope about Liam and how he was recovering, noting that she was spending a lot of time with him. Hope gave a positive update, and Carter told her that he was looking forward to their future together.
Carter suggested that life was short and he wanted to get married. “We should commit every second to being happy, and what could make us happier than spending our lives together,” Carter told her, adding he didn’t want to spend another day not being her husband. Ridge walked in and grumbled that he could remember when his office was used for work. Hope said she needed to go anyway, as she promised to stop by and see Liam, but offered to continue the conversation later. Carter looked disturbed as she left, and Ridge noticed.
Ridge questioned Carter about his concerns, and he said Ridge would say he was overreacting if he told him. Carter admitted that he and Hope hadn’t spent any time alone in quite some time, as she was always with Liam. “You’re overreacting,” Ridge said. Ridge suggested that Carter was jealous of Liam.
Ridge told Carter to lighten up and reminded him that Liam and Hope have a history and a child. Carter insisted he wasn’t jealous but did want to get on with life. Ridge could understand that Carter wanted to spend time with his fiancée, and Carter hoped that one day Liam would find the type of love he had with Hope. He just wanted them to start living their life together as a married couple. Ridge wondered if Carter was doing the same thing he always did and was rushing into things with Hope, but Carter was sure that Hope wanted the same for their future as he did.
At the Spencer mansion, Bill asked Liam how he was doing and processing everything he had gone through. Liam said his brain was still trying to figure out what was true, and Bill swore he’d see that Grace would pay for what she did. Liam shared that he had spent a lot of time thinking about what he would do if he could live, and was realizing now he did have a future, and he knew exactly what he wanted it to look like.
“I wasted so much of my time acting like life was just happening to me,” Liam said, but told Bill that he was tired of his own wishy-washy games, ping-ponging between people yet acting like he was the victim. He knew that life could be anything he wanted it to be now. Bill knew Liam meant he wanted Hope back.
Bill could understand Liam’s new lease on life. As Liam was explaining how he felt, Hope came in, and he lit up when he saw her. Bill gave them some privacy, and Liam told Hope he appreciated the time she spent checking up on him. “I meant what I said, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be,” Hope said. Liam was glad to hear that because there was no one else he’d rather see. “You’re not getting tired of me? “ she teased. “Never…ever,” Liam smiled.
Liam told Hope that over the previous months, he had been thinking about how he would tell himself that his daughters would be okay because they would have their mothers. “But then I would think about you specifically, and I’ve been an idiot,” Liam told Hope, “How many times did you forgive my malignant indecisiveness?” He shared that he had done a lot of thinking, and he always loved her. “I’m saying that I know what’s important. I know what matters mos,t and it’s love. But it’s our love,” Liam said. He told her that they had been given a second chance and he knew what was the best way to take it for him, her, and Beth. “We have to be a family again,” Liam told Hope.
