The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, August 26, 2025: Luna taunts Will, Liam proposes too

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

At Li’s, Luna raved about how she and Will made love, and she’d wanted it for so long, but Sheila reminded her that Will thought he was with Electra. She said she understood her grandma’s concerns, but it was the best thing that had ever happened to her, and she hoped it was going to change her life.

Luna made it sound like everything just fell into place and was meant to be, but Sheila corrected her that she was doctoring Will’s drinks and created the situation. Luna didn’t want to hear it because she gave Will something that he wanted, and Electra wouldn’t. “And probably never will when she finds out,” Luna added.

Electra went to Il Giardino to see if a missing earring turned up that she lost at the party. Deacon told Electra that all night long, all Will could do was gush about how much he liked her. He said it was obvious how much the two of them cared about one another. Electra agreed and said that Will treated her well, and would never do anything to hurt her.

Sheila came in and joined the conversation. She smiled about how well the party went and grinned confidently at Electra when she added that it was definitely a night that Will will never forget.

In the salon, Will lamented to his mom that the party was good but something else happened that upset him. Will explained what happened and that he was with another girl by mistake — and that he had no idea who he was with.

Will thought that he was with Electra, and thought he was so drunk that he didn’t know what he was doing because he never would have cheated on his girlfriend. He added that now Electra was talking like she was ready to have sex with him that very night, and he was carrying a lot of guilt. Katie advised her son to keep it a secret from Electra. After Katie left, Luna texted Will from an unknown number and said, “Last night was wonderful.” he asked who she was, and she wrote back, “A secret admirer.”

In the CEO’s office, Carter was confident that the engagement ring on Hope’s finger meant they were going to move forward, but since Liam was going to survive his crises, he wanted to spend time with his fiancée.

Carter told Ridge he was going to need a best man soon and asked if he could be convinced to take on the job. Carter and Ridge agreed they were still best friends, but Ridge noted he’d always had doubts about Hope and still worries that she is using Carter. However, since Carter believed marrying Hope was what he wanted, Ridge agreed to be his best man.

At the Spencer mansion, Liam told Hope that he had a new lease on life and knew that he loved her and wanted to spend his life with her. Hope cried as she told Liam that thinking she was going to lose him made her reflect on all of their past mistakes. She was grateful that he was going to survive, but noted she was engaged to Carter.

Hope said she took her engagement seriously, and noted that Carter wanted to make a life with her. “Of course he does. But what do you want?” Liam asked intently.

Liam pointed out that he’d only pushed her to be with Carter because he thought he was dying. He reminded her that they have an amazing history and he wants to spend his life with her. “This time would be different, because it would have to be forever. You and me. Forever,” Liam added. He told Hope that if Carter loves her, he will understand her taking her ring off. Liam asked Hope to come back to him and then kissed her.
