The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, August 27, 2025: Deacon advises Hope, and Ivy appeals to Liam

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

At Il Giardino, Deacon continued his praise of Will and Electra’s relationship to Sheila, who had a flashback to Luna telling her that she had sex with Will. Hope interrupted her thoughts when she came to see her dad. Sheila congratulated Hope on her engagement to Carter, noting she didn’t think she’d had the chance to say anything yet.

Sheila suggested they host the wedding for Hope and Carter, but Deacon interrupted, saying there was no rush, especially since Liam was back in the game. Hope smiled when she heard her dad say that.

Sheila left, and Deacon told Hope that he had seen the look on her face when he suggested that Liam was back in the running for her heart. Hope tried to say that it was just gratitude for being alive. Deacon wondered if Liam's living changed how Hope felt about her commitment to Carter.

Deacon reasoned that Liam was no saint, but knew that Hope still loved Liam. Deacon said he didn’t believe that Carter made her feel the way that being with Liam did.

Bill surprised Liam with a breakfast burrito from South Bay that he had ordered in. Liam was excited but said that what he wanted most in life. Bill assumed it was justice for Grace Buckingham and assured him that he would use all of his power and influence to make sure she paid. Liam admitted that what he was actually thinking about was a life with Hope.

Liam told Bill about his conversation with Hope and how he suggested she take Carter’s ring off and end things with him. She told Bill how he was going to take control of his life and fight for his family to be together.

Liam assured his dad that he wanted to get back together for more than just Beth’s sake. He said he loved Hope and wouldn’t rest until she also believed they could be a family again.

In the design office, Ivy and Electra giggled about Electra’s plans to have sex for the first time with Will later that evening. Ivy assured her niece that she wouldn’t stop by the guest house and interrupt them. She added that she might have plans later with Liam. Now that they knew he was going to live, she wanted to tell Liam how she felt about him. “Oh my god, could you imagine if we both wound up with our own Spencer man?” Electra asked giddily.

Across the hall, Will was reading his text from his “secret admirer” when Katie came in and shut the door. She wanted to know if he figured out who he was with after the party. He said that all he knew was it wasn’t Electra. He got a text from his girlfriend who said she wanted to talk to him.

Katie told Will that the more she thought about it, the more upset she was about what happened. She recapped how drunk she heard Will was, and presumed whoever the girl was that he had sex with, knew he was drunk and took advantage of that. Katie told Will it wasn’t his fault, and suggested he give himself some grace and let himself off the hook — and told him he never had to think about that mystery girl ever again.

Will didn’t know if he could live with the guilt of cheating on Electra and thought he should tell her what happened. He went across the hall and made out with Electra in the design office. She told him that she had the guest house to herself if he wanted to stop by later, and he said he would like to very much. Electra mused that it would be a night they would never forget, as Will had flashbacks to having sex with Luna.

At Li’s, Luna was looking at her burner phone and smiling when Li came in so she put it away. Li questioned her about going out and how she could lose her freedom if someone spotted her. Luna insisted there was nothing to worry about because she was going to make sure that no one would see her. “What are you saying?” Li asked.

Luna explained to Li that she was never going back to prison and was hoping for a miracle. Li snapped at Sheila as she came in and told her to talk some sense into their granddaughter before stomping out. Luna told Sheila that Li just couldn’t understand why she wasn’t freaking out about going back to prison. “You’ve got a plan, don’t you,” Sheila mused. Luna said she would do whatever it took to make sure that she never wound up in that hellhole ever again.

Ivy went to the Spencer mansion and surprised Liam by dropping by. She told Liam that the thought of losing him made him realize how much he meant to her. She reminded him of their past and their connection and said she missed it, and him. Since he now had many healthy years ahead of him, she was sure he’d want to spend them with a woman who loved him. “I do, and Hope is that woman,” Liam said before trying to backtrack to make it land easier. “Hope is the one you want?” Ivy clarified, stunned.
