What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

At Il Giardino, Deacon insisted to Hope that she should forget about her engagement to Carter and give Liam another chance. Deacon told her that Carter was like a superhero for her, but she wouldn’t have to worry about Steffy and Liam anymore since Steffy was happy with Finn. He thought Hope could be happy with Liam, but said she was the only one who could make it happen.
Hope tried to change the subject, but Deacon wouldn’t let her. He said nothing meant more to Hope than her family. “Follow your heart. Your heart is your family,” Deacon pleaded.
At the Spencer mansion, Liam continued to reject Ivy as she questioned why he wanted Hope when she was engaged to someone else. Liam explained that he pushed Hope to Carter when he thought he was dying, but that’s all changed now, and he wants her back. “Hope’s my family,” he shrugged.
Liam told Ivy she was any man’s dream girl. He said he’d just lost so much time with his family, and he couldn’t risk losing any more. Ivy understood, but wished she were the chosen one for Liam. She said no hard feelings, wanted nothing but the best for him, and thought that Hope was so lucky to be the love of his life.
In the CEO’s office, Carter was reminiscing about proposing to Hope when Daphne interrupted his thoughts. Daphne asked Carter if he and Hope had a wedding date planned yet. When she found out they hadn’t, and Carter noted he wanted to as soon as possible, Daphne wondered why the rush. Carter reminded her they had been engaged for months, but Daphne wondered if he was worried that Hope was changing her mind.
Daphne noted that most women pick out their dress right away and book a venue. She warned Carter to be smart about Hope and Liam and reminded him that he was engaged to someone who already had a family with someone else.
Carter reminded Daphne that he had something that Liam didn’t: undivided love for Hope. He ranted that he and Hope were in it together and that Hope was just as committed to him as he was to her. “We’re going to be husband and wife,” Carter insisted as Hope listened from the doorway.
Carter was glad that Hope overheard and interrupted. “You can’t hear too many times how much I love you,” he smiled. Carter asked Hope to set a date. Hope was surprised when he told her that Ridge agreed to be his best man. “Now it’s time for you to say yes, too,” Carter told Hope. He encouraged her to agree to get married right away, but Deacon’s words haunted Hope about giving Liam another chance.
Across the hall, Electra anticipated her night with Will as he had flashbacks to having sex with Luna. Electra assured him that they would have no distractions later that night and was glad they had waited. Will couldn’t stop thinking about the woman in his bed wearing Electra’s mask.
Later, Ivy returned to the office and found Electra welding. Ivy told her about her conversation with Liam. She described it as very flattering and an ego boost — even if Hope was the one Liam wanted. Hope made her entrance, and Daphne quickly left. Electra was proud of Ivy for trying and assured her the right guy was out there.
At Li’s, Luna told Sheila not to worry about her going back to prison because she had too much to look forward to. Sheila reminded her that Will thinks she’s dead and was somehow tricked into sleeping with her. “I just hope I’m there when he hears the good news, that it was sweet little me behind the mask,” Luna smirked.
Sheila warned Luna that she was playing a dangerous game with her freedom. Luna laughed that Li was on her about that all the time, and thought it was ironic that Li had asked if she was expecting another miracle. “Maybe I am,” she smiled.
Once alone, Luna smiled to herself as she recalled how she had just told Sheila that her plan was to have a happily ever after with Will. She continued to grin as she placed her hand on her stomach.
Will went to Il Giardino to see Sheila. He told her he’d had more drinks than he planned to and said he’d never been that drunk before. He hoped Sheila could fill in the blanks and tell him the parts he couldn’t remember. Sheila recalled what Luna told her in a flashback, but reminded Will that Deacon took him upstairs to sleep it off.
Will asked if, by any chance, Sheila came into his room that night. Sheila balked that she most definitely didn’t. Sheila told Will that she could tell something was bothering him and said he could open up to her. “To tell you the truth, I’m freaking out a little bit, Sheila,” Will admitted, “Someone came into my room that night, and I need to know who it was.” Will told Sheila that if she had any idea who came into his room, he needed to know and pleaded with her to tell him.
