What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Katie couldn't believe the difference in her life in just 24 short hours. She and Bill got remarried, Bill was reunited with his sword necklace, and he revealed to Katie plans for a fashion house of her own. He wanted her to create her own brand in the industry. Katie struggled to wrap her mind around it, but Bill loved her and would do anything that she ever wanted. He knew that walking away from Forrester wouldn't be an easy decision, but she needed to seize the moment.
Building a fashion house from the ground up was challenging. It wouldn't happen overnight. Still, Bill believed Katie was up for the task. This was a monumental career decision for Katie, so she needed to sit on it before she made a final decision. Bill wanted more for Katie in her professional life. The days of being undervalued at Forrester needed to come to an abrupt halt.
Bill vowed to back off if Katie felt pressured to sway toward the choice he wanted her to make. He wanted the decision to be entirely hers. Katie needed some space to let the idea sink in a bit, since it carried so much weight for her future. Katie needed to head to Forrester to do her actual current job, and he reminded her that she could be there building her new company.
Ridge felt like Bill was desperate to follow through with a wedding immediately after proposing to Katie. Brooke thought it was romantic, not a move made out of desperation. Carter interrupted the couple with news about the outside PR firm brought in to mitigate the damage caused by Luna's death. He praised them for the fantastic job they did, which prompted Brooke to ask where that left Katie.
Fashion was once again the focus of the PR department at Forrester Creations. Brooke hoped that Katie could return with the Luna fallout in the past. Ridge admitted that Katie was an important instrument at the company, but Carter thought some things needed to change. The outside firm had changes they wanted to implement, so Brooke demanded answers about how that would impact her sister.
The next big decision for the company was who would serve as the head of the Hope for the Future design team. Once that choice was finalized, they could move toward a PR campaign. Katie walked in as they mentioned the campaign, and she asked for an update on everything she missed. She assumed the campaign was for Hope's new line, and Carter insisted that it be bold and unlike anything they'd done before.
Katie was stunned that they spoke to the outside PR team before consulting her. They were originally brought in to handle the Luna situation, so it appeared their involvement was outside the scope of what was initially disclosed to Katie. As Head of PR, Katie wanted to be kept in the loop, but Brooke and Ridge didn't need her to contribute to everything.
They had begun working with the outside PR firm, and they didn't have time to bring Katie up to speed on everything. Once they left, she asked herself if it was time to call it quits and walk away from Forrester.
Taylor dropped by Forrester to visit Steffy, but she avoided Ridge, so she didn't have to deal with Brooke. She asked Taylor how she was doing and if she was truly moving on with her life following the split from Ridge. Taylor promised she wasn't living in the past. She should've seen Ridge and Brooke's reunion coming. Once he saved her life, that was the end of her relationship with him.
Steffy asked whether Taylor was still seeing Deacon professionally, and she wanted to know how that was going. Taylor avoided the subject and asked how things were going at Forrester. Steffy said it was a bit strange given Eric's recent retirement, but she was looking forward to the change at the company.
Taylor wondered what changes would take place at Forrester, and she wanted Thomas to come back. Steffy believed he was best for business, and nobody knew the ins and outs of the line better than he did. The new PR team had some great ideas for the line's launch, and although that was Katie's domain, she thought she'd be happy to take the help.
Sheila didn't blame Deacon for her exclusion from Hope and Liam's wedding. He wanted her there, but his hands were tied. Deacon could only advise according to his daughter's wishes. Sheila understood, and she confessed that she saw Taylor on the day of the wedding to gain much-needed perspective. She knew that Taylor was her husband's doctor, but she didn't want to be turned away. She was embroiled in a personal crisis, so she needed somewhere to turn.
Sheila recognized that she had overstepped and pushed boundaries too far. She worried Taylor felt the same way. She was a bit taken aback that he had a session with Taylor after the wedding. He should've been riding high because it was such a special day for Hope. Deacon tried to get Sheila to understand that she worked herself up too much, and she spiraled.
Sheila praised herself for taking a step back before she did something she regretted. She didn't crash Hope and Liam's wedding, and it was all Taylor's fault. Sheila couldn't stop singing the good doctor's praises, and she once again put all of the credit on Taylor for her marriage coming back together. Sheila accepted responsibility for her secrets and lies and how they led to the near demise of their marriage.
Deacon was upset when it happened and disappointed that she appeared to backslide into her old behaviour. Things were better now. Again, she thought Taylor was the person who made that a reality. Deacon flashed back to the end of his most recent session, when Taylor suggested he needed a better woman in his life and the changes he'd made.
Brooke and Ridge returned to the office, only to find Katie nowhere to be found. Brooke was concerned, but Ridge felt as if she would be fine. Elsewhere at Spencer, Bill was surprised to see Katie back at the office so soon. She looked out the window, and she reflected on what Forrester meant to her. Katie recounted her significant contributions to the fashion house and the success of her ad campaigns.
Bill reiterated that he would support Katie in whatever decision she made. He promised she'd never come in second to Brooke and Ridge. Katie confessed that everything at Forrester felt like the Brooke and Ridge show and that things felt different. He encouraged her to stop looking back and look forward to the dawn of her own fashion empire. He asked her to admit that she wanted it, and if she said the word, it would be hers.
