The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, July 14-18: Liam gets a clean Bill of health

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill got an earful from everyone, from Hope to Ridge, when he wanted to see Liam at the hospital. Hope accidentally blurted out that Liam was dying from a brain tumor. Chief Baker wanted to arrest Luna but found out she had died. Poppy had second thoughts on her stance that she didn’t care about Luna dying, and told Finn she regretted keeping him out of their daughter’s life. Finn didn’t want to hear it. Eric planned a trip to Italy for him, Ridge, and Brooke. He told Ridge that it wouldn’t be all work, and suggested that it would be for pleasure as well. Nick told Brooke he was going to Italy for work as well and wanted her to fly with him. He promised her that he would make time for her, like she deserved, while they were there. Deacon doted on Sheila and her injured foot. She lamented that she could have helped Luna if she were alive, and Deacon hoped never to lose his wife. They both agreed that Liam was a hero, and Deacon hoped that Steffy and Finn realized that Sheila was a hero, too. Katie, Electra, and Will recounted what happened with Luna, and were distraught that Liam was being rewarded for her heroism with a death sentence anyway from the cancerous tumor. Will cried that he wasn’t ready to lose his big brother and was praying for a miracle. Brooke worried that going to Italy was ill-timed as Liam could die while they were gone. Brooke, Taylor, and Ridge agreed to work together for whatever was best for their family and be there for Hope, Steffy, Kelly, and Beth. Taylor had talked to Donna about the trip to Italy and was confident that nothing would happen with Ridge and Brooke while they were gone, but asked Ridge to set a wedding date before he left anyway. Grace told Bill that there was an experimental treatment that she could get for Liam from her friend, Dr. Adhikari — but it would cost him a million dollars. Bill transferred the money, and Grace released Liam to have him transferred to another clinic. Dr. Adhikari and Grace performed the surgery and removed the mass. Meanwhile, Finn, Bridget, Hope, and Steffy found out that Liam had been suddenly and secretly discharged. They called Bill for answers. Bill was surprised when Grace sent Liam home with him immediately after brain surgery. Bill had a bedroom set up with equipment and a nurse. Steffy, Hope, and Finn came over with more questions and were there when Liam woke up. Bill received a text and a copy of the MRi confirming that Liam had a clean bill of health, and all of the cancerous tumor had been removed in surgery. Finn was suspicious that Grace’s miracle treatment was on the up and up.
