The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, July 23, 2025: Nick infuriates Ridge, Daphne Rose returns

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In the CEO’s office, Ridge told Brooke she was giving him an ultimatum to leave Taylor or she would get together with Nick. She told him that she had the right to move on. As Brooke lectured Ridge about how hard it was for her to watch him with someone else, there was a knock at the door. She ignored it as she continued to tell Ridge that he loved her more than Taylor. “Well, well, well, what did I just walk in on?” Nick asked from the doorway.

Ridge mentioned a silk order they were waiting on and got testy with Nick when he tried to be part of the conversation. Brooke suggested that Ridge give her and Nick a minute. “You heard the lady, set sail, pal,” Nick growled. Ridge stormed off out of his own office after being dismissed. Brooke admonished Nick for provoking Ridge, but then took a call. While Brooke was distracted, Nick made a call and told someone to hold the silk order.

When Brooke got off the phone, Nick listed all the things he wanted to do with and show Brooke while in Italy. She was tickled, and seemed interested. Nick said how beautiful the places were he wanted to show her, and promised that there, anything could happen.

Nick was telling Brooke how magical Italy could be for them. He asked if she really wanted ot be in a bunch of stiff meetings with Eric and Ridge or did she want to see Italy with him and make a little magic.

At the Forrester mansion, Steffy told Taylor that she didn’t know about Liam’s other surgery before it happened, but it was a miracle. Taylor said she needed another one — preventing Brooke from going to Italy with Ridge. Steffy wasn’t happy about that trip either, but Taylor told her that Eric was. She lamented that Eric was giving his support to a Brooke and Ridge reunion, and it was hard not to be bitter about it.

Taylor assured Steffy (and herself) that Ridge was focused on work only. “And you,” Steffy added. They discussed how Brooke was using Nick to provoke Ridge. Donna interrupted and asked if they were talking about Nick. Steffy wondered if Brooke would be interested in rekindling a relationship with him as they knew Nick’s intentions. “He could try, but we all know my sister is only interested in one man,” Donna said.

Taylor thought it was possible for Nick to sweep Brooke off her feet. Donna just thought it was a mistake and that her sister still felt connected to Ridge. Taylor suggested Donna should want Brooke to move on with her life. “I just want her to be happy,” Donna told her before adding that her sister still loved her destiny, and Donna was pretty sure Ridge felt the same about Brooke.

In the design office, Eric and Carter were talking about the silk order that they needed, when suddenly they were transfixed by a wafting scent. In walked Daphne, who told them she was very happy to be back in L.A. as she ogled Carter.

After they moved to the hallway, Carter explained to Daphne about their Italy trip, and they stood close and talked with innuendos and flirty tones while they discussed her impending new fragrance. Carter gushed that he was happy to have her back at Forrester and said he missed seeing her. Carter told Daphne that a lot had happened since she left, but wanted to know how long she was staying. “We shall see,” she replied suggestively.

Back in the design office, Ridge stormed in and frowned as he told his dad that Nick interrupted his conversation with Brooke, and determined that he didn’t want Nick going to Italy with them. He didn’t think Nick belonged in the building, or Brooke’s life. “He’s a self-serving bastard,” he snapped when Eric told him to dig deep and figure out why Nick really bothered him.

Ridge and Eric were interrupted by a phone call confirming that they found the silk shipment and it had been in L.A. shipyards the whole time. However, it was shipped by Marone, and they realized Nick had been messing with them the whole time. “I’ll take it from here,” Ridge snarled. Eric let Ridge’s temper flare and fanned the flames by reminding him that first it was the silk, and next it’ll be Brooke. He told Ridge he had to stop Nick.

Ridge went to the CEO's office and revealed what he found out about Nick holding up their silk shipment. Nick quipped that he tried telling Ridge he had business there, but he wouldn’t believe him. Brooke whined that Eric and Ridge really need the silk, so Nick made a call and told them to expedite it. Ridge warned Nick that he was pissing him off. He said that Nick always comes to town, causes problems, and leaves again — and this time, Nick “wouldn’t do that to Logan.” As Brooke’s eyes lit up, Nick snapped at Ridge, “Oh, shut up. And quit calling her Logan. You’re marrying another woman!”
