The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, July 28, 2025: Bill asks for forgiveness, as others leave for Italy

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

At home, Steffy and Finn discussed Steffy's need to get out of town for a little while. Finn was supportive but agreed they were each other’s everything and would miss one another. Steffy assured her husband that she wouldn’t leave town if Liam was still in trouble. Finn admitted he still had questions about Grace’s procedure and thought she might be avoiding him.

In the CEO’s office, Ridge confirmed that Deuce had the jet ready to go to Italy. Eric told Ridge again that he wanted him to reunitie with Brooke in Italy and warned that Nick was circling Brooke like a shark.

At the Spencer mansion, Bill let it slip that he spent some cash on saving Liam. Bill said money didn’t matter ot him, but Liam did. Liam was shocked that Bill paid a million dollars for a procedure he wasn’t even sure would work.

Bill told Liam that he loved him and was proud of the man and father Liam had become. “If you had left this world, the best of me would have left with you,” Bill cried. He told Liam that he had lived his life in a battle with his worst inclinations, and he tore down the best things around him — something he did with Liam and regretted it.

Bill confessed that he had a warrior mentality for self-protection and that he tried to mold Liam into being the same as him, rather than appreciating who he was. Bill recognized that his attitude destroyed his personal life. He said that when Liam called him out about Luna, he was spot on, and he lashed out at his son rather than hearing him. He asked Liam for forgiveness for all the ways he had mistreated him. Bill sobbed at the thought of losing Liam and said he wouldn’t have survived it if Liam hadn't. The men emotionally told each other they loved one another and hugged.

In the design office, Taylor reminded Brooke that she and Ridge were engaged, and she wasn’t to interfere with their relationship while in Italy. Brooke smirked as Taylor stared her down.

Brooke soothed that Taylor had nothing to worry about, but Taylor said she was mindful of Brooke's history and wondered how many pieces from Brooke’s Bedroom she packed for her ‘business trip.’ Brooke mocked Taylor for seeming insecure, given that she was wearing an engagement ring. “I’m not insecure. I’m annoyed and frustrated at your constant disrespect. Have some dignity for once in your life and save the tired, tasteless seduction routine we both know you’re planning for someone else,” Taylor snapped before leaving.

As Taylor walked out, Nick came in. He said he didn’t want to leave before he showed Brooke a reminder that he would be in Italy, too, and held up his passport. Brooke was tickled, but said she had to ride the plane with Ridge and Eric so they could work. She promised to spend time with Nick in Naples, and they kissed. Behind them, a disgruntled Eric watched from the doorway.

Eric followed Nick after he left Brooke and told him that he had overheard his conversation with Brooke and warned him that it was a business trip and not to interfere. “Oh, come on, Eric. If anyone wants to talk about interfering, your son is marrying Taylor,” he said. “Stay away from Naples, alright?” Eric grimaced. “Always a pleasure, Eric,” Nick said with a smile as he walked away.

Taylor went to the CEO’s office and surprised Ridge with a passionate kiss. She told him she wanted him to know how much she would miss him. Steffy came in and interrupted their canoodling. She thought the trip was going to be a success and reminded them that she would also be away with the kids. Steffy wanted her parents to remember how happy they were, and asked them to keep it that way. “Please don’t forget it, especially when you’re in Italy, because I have a feeling Brooke is going to throw herself at you,” Steffy added. She told Ridge that she and Taylor had confidence in him; Ridge didn't respond but looked serious.

Brooke and Eric came in, excited to get going. Steffy and Taylor said their goodbyes to Ridge, reminding him to be safe, and Taylor added that she would be waiting for him. Brooke stared as Ridge and Taylor kissed. Elsewhere in the building, Nick looked at pictures of Capri and thought about the time he wanted to spend there with Brooke. “A new chapter, a new life for us, Brooke. And it starts in Italy,” he mused.

Finn went to visit Liam and see how he was doing. Bill left to do some work, and Finn asked Liam how he was feeling. “Popular…I’ve had a lot of visitors today,” Liam quipped. He told Finn how Steffy thanked Sheila when they were both there. Finn said Sheila deserved credit, but Liam was the real hero.

Finn wanted to know if Liam had gotten any more info from Dr. Buckingham about the surgery. Finn offered to check Liam’s incisions and undid his bandage. Once Finn took a look, he seemed very confused. Liam asked if something was wrong with his stitches. Liam said he was just surprised that the incisions were smaller than he expected. Outside the door, Grace stopped in her tracks as she heard Finn talking. Liam thought it might be a good sign, but Finn knew they should be bigger given the operation and the tumor size. Liam said he could ask Grace about it when she came to check on him. “I feel fine, but weirdly fine,” Liam said. He credited Dr. Buckingham for making him feel like his old self again so quickly. “Yeah…it’s unbelievable,” Finn replied suspiciously.
