The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, July 29, 2025: Li is secretly keeping [SPOILER] alive

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Ridge, Eric, and Brooke arrive at their hotel on the Amalfi Coast to a crowd waving and welcoming them with cheers. On the rooftop, a reception awaited them. Brooke thought the setting was beautiful. “Let the magic of Italy begin,” Eric agreed.

Nick got to a marina and hoped that Tomas had his boat ready as he had something very special planned. Tomas told him about a special place between two rocks, and that legend had it that if he passed through while kissing his love, the two would have eternal happiness together. “That’s the plan, my friend,” Nick laughed. Meanwhile, on the boat, a man was trying to get the steering wheel to work. Tomas admitted there was a little problem with the boat, but promised to get it ready. Nick said it had to be right as he looked up and saw Brooke on the rooftop of a hotel.

Eric addressed the crowd and did a toast. Ridge heard a boat horn and saw a Marone liner going by. He shook his head in disgust, but Brooke reeled him into a conversation and some selfies. Eric conferred with Ginge about the work they were going to do the next day. As Brooke was enjoying the view, she heard someone say, “Ciao, Bella!” Brooke turned and lit up when she saw Nick.

Nick told Brooke that he was going to take her out on the ocean, and that he had lots of fun planned for them. Brooke reminded him that she had to work, but agreed to spend time with Nick, too. As they kissed, Eric spotted them and was not happy.

At the Forrester mansion, Taylor updates Donna that she got a text from Ridge, and they all arrived in Italy. The two women commented that they missed Eric and Ridge already. They talked about Nick showing up in L.A. out of nowhere and how he took over his dad’s fleet. They thought it was ironic after he first came to town, shipwrecked, and that he lived on the Shady Marlin.

Taylor and Donna noted that Brooke and Nick got married on the Shady Marlin and sailed off into the sunset. Taylor encouraged Donna to want Brooke to move on from Ridge, but Donna said there was only one man who could make her happy. “Sorry,” Donna shrugged.

Taylor told Donna that it seemed like Nick would follow Brooke to the ends of the earth to be with her. They talked about how every man was in love with Brooke. “Even Eric,” Donna quipped. Taylor insisted that Ridge wasn’t one of them and hoped that Brooke would turn to Nick instead.

Taylor claimed she trusted Ridge and wasn’t worried, but Donna could tell otherwise. Taylor admitted that Nick came to her for advice about Brooke and was surprised that he had opened up to her the way that he did. Taylor told Donna that Ridge wasn’t available or an option for Brooke, but Donna thought Taylor was set up for disappointment.

Finn saw boxes in Li’s office, and she explained that she was taking a leave of absence. Finn was surprised as she hadn’t mentioned anything. Li explained it was time, and she had just recently made the decision to take a break. Li pointed out that Steffy was also taking a time out, and Finn said he understood why she needed to go out of town. “Luna almost made it so I would never see my wife again,” he grimaced.

Finn asked more about Li’s time off, but she was vague and suddenly had to go. Despite Finn’s protests not to leave mid-conversation, Li claimed there was something she needed to do and should have done a long time ago.

At her apartment, Li unpacked the box she had brought from her office. In it were medical supplies. She turned and pulled back a curtain, revealing a hospital bed, an I.V. drip, and monitors. She stood at the end of the bed and watched Luna sleeping.
