What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

As Sheila tried to talk Luna down from the edge, Luna insisted that she wasn't the problem. Steffy was. "We just want to be a family. We want to be connected, but she doesn't want him in our lives," Luna cried.
"This is why, Luna. Luring me over here and holding me at gunpoint," Steffy pointed out. Luna sighed that she was just trying to get through to her evil stepmother. Steffy looked perplexed as Sheila spoke. "This is not the way to get Steffy to see your perspective. You need to calm down," Sheila ordered.
Luna just continued repeating that Finn wanted to know them, but Steffy wouldn't let him. "All our dreams would come true if Steffy weren't in the way," Luna insisted. As Luna ranted, Sheila gave Steffy a look that seemed to assure Steffy that Luna was distracted.
However, Steffy continued to talk to Luna anyway, as Luna ranted and raved about how Steffy wouldn't allow Luna and Sheila to see Finn. "I don't know what you are suggesting, but this has gone too far, sweetheart. You need to put the gun down now," Sheila ordered.
"I can't. Look, I'm not threatening anybody. I just need Steffy to hear me out," Luna complained. Steffy got on Luna's case for manipulating a child. "Hayes is my half-brother. I would never hurt him," Luna insisted.
"How can Steffy believe that if you're standing there with a gun?" Sheila logically asked. Luna just wanted to know who Steffy was to keep her and Finn apart. "I'm his wife," Steffy was forced to note.
Luna remained convinced she was the victim. "It's not like I'm asking for money or a place to stay. I'm asking to be acknowledged, to be seen for who I am. Someone worthy of his love," Luna said.
"Yeah, but you can't do that with a gun in your hand," Sheila once again pointed out. "I urged you to leave Los Angeles, and I thought you understood why. This isn't the place for you. Not right now. Maybe one day you'll be accepted, but today is not that day."
Sheila did her best to tell Luna that she could change her future if she put down the gun. As Luna grew more desperate, Sheila insisted she stop threatening Steffy. Luna insisted that she wasn't, so Steffy asked why she couldn't just find Miss Dylan and leave. When Steffy turned her back and threatened to call the police, Luna trained the gun on Steffy.
Steffy turned around to find Sheila wrestling Luna for the gun, which then went off, leaving us to wonder who was shot.
In Finn's office, he continued to worry about the voicemail from Steffy regarding Hayes and art school. He hoped Steffy would call him soon, but was sick of the constant calls from Sheila that he kept declining.
"That woman's relentless. It's not fair. You deserve so much better than to have a birth mother like that," Li scoffed. "She's the worst mother in the world. Right up there with my sister Penelope for everything she put Luna through. Penelope caused this destruction in all of our lives."
"I'm more concerned about the destruction our daughter could cause," Finn sighed. Finn said he wasn't there for Luna when she was growing up, but Li assured him that he was not responsible for how Luna turned out.
"That was Penelope's fault. Lies. My instincts were right. I knew she couldn't be trusted. None of this would have happened if your aunt were a decent person," Li said. "What she did was sick, Finn. No wonder Luna turned out the way she did.
Finn and Li agreed that Poppy's neglect turned Luna into who she was. "She's a violent criminal. I have to protect Steffy and the kids from her. But I can't help feeling, if I could have protected Luna, I could have made a difference," Finn lamented. "I just can't shake the feeling that I could have changed things if I'd been given a chance to be her father."
Finn also wondered how he would have turned out had he been raised by Sheila. That made him think of Luna more. "She's my daughter and she's your granddaughter," Finn said.
"Don't remind me," Li said as she rolled her eyes. Then, she had a confession to make. "To be honest, I do have some pity for Luna, for everything she's been through. What she's been denied," Li admitted. "But we can't change the past or what it's turned her into. I have no doubt Luna would have turned into something more if she weren't raised by my morally bankrupt sister."
Finn was surprised to hear that Li had sympathy for Luna. "I don't have any sympathy for her mother. Or for Luna's crimes. Murder. Kidnapping. But Luna wasn't always this desperate, despicable person. Luna wasn't born bad. She grew up in this awful situation...There was a time she was a hopeful girl with her whole life ahead of her. A life ruined by her depraved mother," Li said.
At the cliff house, Ridge was shocked that Sheila had been there. "She came to warn Finn and Steffy about Luna," Taylor said, confusing Ridge. Before Taylor could explain, Electra and Will walked in with some jewelry samples for Steffy to look at.
Taylor told them that Steffy was meeting with Hayes' art teacher, which alarmed Ridge. Taylor elaborated that Steffy was concerned about an inappropriate fortune teller made by Miss Sunshine. Ridge was horrified when Taylor showed him the fortune teller.
Taylor admitted she was worried and on edge because Steffy had been gone longer than she expected. She tried to convince herself that Steffy had just lost track of time. Taylor then told Electra and Will that Sheila had tried to warn her about Luna.
