What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In Eric's office, Ridge, Taylor, and Steffy repeated their conversation about Finn, making sure that Luna would not be a part of their lives. Ridge was still worried that Luna was about to go over the edge. Steffy insisted that she wasn't afraid of Luna and refused to let her believe that she had any kind of power over her.
Taylor hoped that Luna would get the hint and leave L.A., but Steffy stressed that it was a lot more than a hint. "She's not accepted in our lives. Period. The end," she said. Taylor made sure to describe Steffy's cage ordeal in great detail because why not traumatize your daughter again? Steffy flashed back to those moments and told Taylor that Luna's dreams would never come true.
Steffy announced she was done talking about Luna. "I want to focus on other things and not just his lunatic daughter," she said before leaving for the day.
Once Steffy was gone, Taylor and Ridge continued to talk about Luna. They hoped that Steffy and Finn had gotten their message across because they feared what Luna might do next. "I've had patients like Luna before. I know all too well how their minds work," Taylor said. "The mind of someone who can hurt someone or kill someone and then act as if it never happened. Minds like that are the most dangerous of all."
As Finn once again repeated to Luna that she could never be a part of his life, Luna broke down crying, telling him that he couldn't mean what he was saying. Finn was determined to get Luna to understand that he wanted nothing to do with her.
"Luna, you have committed crimes that you should be spending the rest of your life in prison, but instead, you have your freedom. Don't you think you should feel thankful for that? Do something with the second chance you've been given. A chance you don't deserve," Finn said.
Luna insisted she would prove to Finn that she had changed, but Finn asked her to prove it to herself. "I'm not going to be involved. You never will be. This is it. We are done. You will not have a place in my life ever," Finn said.
Luna again blamed Steffy for all of this. "Am I considering Steffy's feelings about the woman who tried to kill her? Yeah, I sure am," Finn told his delusional daughter. Finn told Luna she had to leave, but she was fascinated when she heard that Hayes was in his room.
Luna referred to Finn as "Dad" again as she continued her begging act. Finn demanded that she never call him that again. So, Luna decided to go off on her mom. "All I was to her was free labor to sell those ugly t-shirts," she said. "She doesn't care. She never has. Don't you see, Dad? I'm alone. I have nowhere to go. I need you now more than ever," she said.
When Hayes called out for his father, Finn made Luna hide. Hayes claimed he was scared by a video on his tablet. He feared zombies would come to their house. As Finn comforted Hayes and made him laugh, Luna lurked in a corner and watched, wishing she could have had that same kind of relationship with Finn as a child.
When Steffy returned home and saw the three of them in a family moment, the fears started flowing. Steffy noticed that Finn looked nervous. He knew that Luna was still lurking somewhere. After Hayes went back to his room, Luna came out of hiding and freaked out Steffy.
Luna cried that she needed a father like Finn when she was a kid. She was envious that her "little half-brother" had what she'd always wanted. They repeated to Luna that she had no place in their life. "Go! And never come back here again," Steffy ordered. Before Luna walked out, she focused on a photo of Hayes.
Bill stopped by the hospital and ended up getting lectured by Li, who asked him if he thought of Kelly at all when he had Luna set free. Bill finally admitted that he screwed up. "If it's any consolation, I've been thinking that I might have mishandled things with Luna," Bill confessed. "Admitting that I was wrong is new to me. In fact, it rarely happens, so for now I am going with might have."
Bill told Li about visiting with Luna and telling her to leave town. Li liked that idea. "If she can't be in prison, then somewhere far from Los Angeles is the next best thing," Li said. Bill agreed. "If Luna can get her life together and put the past behind her that could mean I didn't totally screw up getting her pardoned," Bill said. "If she'd only take your advice. That girl's caused enough damage," Li lamented.
