The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, June 26, 2025: Ridge Forrester put a ring on it

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Ridge looked at Taylor curiously when she asked him to marry her, with Nick sitting on the other side of a shrub listening in.

"I love you, Ridge. You're my person. We've shared so many years together...it's how we relate to each other. It's how we connect. Our passion for each other...so, why wait? Life is too short when you know exactly what you want, and I want you. Tell me you want the same thing, too. Tell me you want me to be your wife," Taylor said.

Nick kept listening as Taylor made her case. Ridge felt they were already committed because they were living together. "I have to admit that this proposal has caught me off guard a little bit," Ridge said.

Taylor wasn't giving up and even had the engagement ring ready to go. She whipped out a little treasure box reminiscent of Ridge's St. Thomas treasure hunt proposal all those years ago. "Slip this ring on my finger. Tell me how you really feel about me, that you want to spend the rest of your life with me," Taylor said.

Ridge told Taylor he was in love with her and that she made him better. "What bothers me is that ring should have been on your finger this whole time. We missed so much, but I promise to make it up to you," Ridge said, before slipping the ring on Taylor's finger and kissing her.

In Eric's office, Katie and Brooke continued discussing Ridge. "I just hope Ridge doesn't make any more rash decisions," Brooke said. Katie asked: "What could be more rash than immediately running to Taylor?"

Brooke felt it didn't really matter. They'd learn from this experience and grow, but would ultimately end up together, in the world according to Brooke. She was sure that Ridge was only with Taylor because he felt a sense of obligation.

"They both know what they have isn't real," Brooke said, much to Katie's frustration. "She's not delusional. She knows she's the rebound. I just don't see why she would settle for something like that."

Katie did her best to get through to her sister, but it felt like an uphill battle. "Brooke, I think it's time to face some hard truths. If Ridge says he's committed to Taylor...well, Ridge is a man who doesn't break his commitments," Katie pointed out. Brooke noted that Ridge broke his commitment to her, but Katie still felt Brooke should give up on Ridge.

Brooke remained committed to her one-track mind. "I still believe in Ridge and me. He is only with Taylor because of what happened between us. And that makes their relationship very hollow and fractured. I do believe I am the woman Ridge wants to spend the rest of his life with, not Taylor," Brooke insisted.

At Steffy's house, Electra was uncomfortable with what Will was about to do, but he felt it was his duty to help bring down Luna. "I can get her to open up and get her to admit that she's planning to hurt Steffy," Will said. Lt. Baker announced he had a warrant from the judge for surveillance, so the cops were on their way over with a wire for Will.

When Luna turned around to get Will a bottle of water, Will planted the camera so that the crew at Steffy's house could watch this all go down. Will told Luna how sexy she was, to which she responded, "Careful, Will, cause I'll ruin you if you let me."

Baker also wanted Will to plant a camera disguised as lipstick in Luna's apartment. Steffy continuously asked Will if he was sure about this, but Will insisted it was the right thing to do. "Luna's not just a danger to you and the kids. She's also threatened Electra. My dad is the one who got us into this mess, but I'm going to be the one to get us out," Will said.

Luna was on cloud nine with the idea of Will coming over. "Finally, Will and Princess Prude aren't together, and he wants to see me," Luna gushed to Sheila, who remained skeptical.

Sheila listened to Luna go on about Electra being boring while she changed into a sexy sundress and freshened her makeup. "Luna, I really want to see you happy, but this seems strange, doesn't it? Will, out of the blue, texting you back?" she asked.

Sheila finally decided there wasn't much she could say to Luna to get her to be suspicious, so she decided to leave to give her granddaughter some privacy. "Be careful," was all she said before walking out the door. "I'll make Will prove how much he wants me," Luna said to herself. However, she made sure her gun was loaded before Will knocked on the door.

Luna put the gun in a drawer before letting him in. Will reiterated the lie that he had broken up with Electra. "And your first thought was that you had to come to see me," Luna smiled.

Steffy, Finn, Electra, and the police watched as Will did his thing and Luna continued to insult Electra. Will tried to be nice about things. "Well, you were right. Electra is sweet. Very sweet, but I think I need a little more than sweet in my life. She's just a girl, Luna. What I need is a woman...I thought I really had something with Electra. I really did. But she doesn't excite me. Not the way you do," he said.

Luna had to finally admit that this all seemed a bit odd. "You went from absolutely hating me to wanting me all of a sudden. What's going on here, Will? What exactly do you want from me?" she asked. "I'm pretty sure you know what I want," Will replied. Will told Luna that he wanted her.

Will went into a speech on how everyone had turned their backs on Luna. He said he felt bad for Luna because she wasn't able to get to know her father. He realized it was all Steffy's fault. "You've been dealt bad hand after bad hand and you're surviving," Will said.

Luna scoffed at the idea. "Is that what you call this? I am all by myself. I have no one to turn to. And I know what I did to Tom and Hollis is unforgivable, but when I looked into my father's eyes, I could see his love for me. And he'd be in my life if it wasn't for Steffy," Luna said. "But I don't want to talk about Steffy or my dad. That's not why you came here," she added before putting her arms around Will and pulling him in for a kiss.
