What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Steffy, Electra, Finn, and Lt. Baker continued to watch as Will tried to fool Luna. "Steffy. She's the only thing standing between me and my dad," Luna lamented. Will wished there was something Luna could do about her problem. "There is. I can get rid of her. Make sure she never messes with me again," Luna said nonchalantly.

Steffy thought they finally had enough evidence to nab Luna, but Lt. Baker insisted he needed to hear more. Will tried to get Luna to say more, but Luna decided she was done talking about Steffy. "I finally have you all alone to myself. Do you have any clue what I'm gonna do to you?" she asked as she started kissing Will's neck.

Electra watched uncomfortably until Luna finally stopped. She looked at Will suspiciously and asked him why he was really there. Will once again tried to explain that he broke up with Electra because they were two very different people.

"I really like you Will, and I think we would be really great together, but not if you're playing me. You keep asking me questions about Steffy and what I would do to her. Why would you care?" Luna wanted to know. "If you really wanted me as much as I wanted you, we wouldn't be talking right now. No, we'd be naked," Luna said, as she ripped Will's shirt open to reveal the wire taped to his chest.

Will attempted to explain himself as Luna absorbed the fact that she had been tricked. "This flirting routine. You coming over, that was just a setup because you've been working with them, right? Steffy put you up to this, didn't she?" Luna cried.

Will insisted Steffy wasn't a part of this while Lt. Baker called for backup. Luna accused Will of wanting her back in prison. "I really thought you were different, Will," Luna announced. "Wait, are you out of your mind? You killed two people. You threatened Electra. I told you not to go anywhere near her. And now you're showing up at Steffy's house?" he exclaimed.

Luna claimed she just wanted to see her dad. Will was as honest with Luna as he could be, telling her that Finn wanted nothing to do with her, and that "someone like you shouldn't be roaming the streets."

Will was on a tear, telling Luna he would right his father's wrong and send her right back to prison. That set Luna off, so she grabbed the gun from the drawer and casually waved it around as the crew at Steffy's kitchen table watched in horror. "I will do anything not to go back to that prison. And I mean anything," Luna threatened.

Ridge and Taylor sat on Eric's couch, reveling in their love and brand-new engagement status. Taylor felt empowered after taking the bull by the horns and proposing marriage. She thought women should try it more often. "Who knew you were such a romantic? Proposing at lunch," Ridge said.

As Taylor lay on Ridge's shoulder and told him how excited she was for their future, Ridge stared into space with a pensive look on his face. When they stood up, he noted how Taylor had always been very patient with him. Taylor was proud of herself for "making it happen." They remembered their younger past, but couldn't wait to start their next chapter together.

Taylor then noted that one person wouldn't be happy about their engagement. Ridge knew exactly who Taylor was talking about. Taylor pointed out that Brooke has been completely convinced that Ridge would return to her any day. Ridge knew RJ would be disappointed in his engagement. "Hopefully, he'll see how happy you are and give us his blessing," Taylor said.

Brooke stood in Eric's office, unable to speak as Nick told her what he had heard while eavesdropping on Ridge and Taylor at Il Giardino. Finally, Brooke found her voice. "I can't believe this. I didn't think that's what he wanted," she said. "I knew Taylor was desperate. She knew Ridge wasn't going to get down on one knee...I'm sorry. I'm having a hard time accepting this."

Nick finally gave Brooke the details of Taylor's proposal and how he had happened to hear it. Brooke grasped at anything to give her some hope, including the fact that Ridge seemed thrown by Taylor's talk of their future. Brooke was surprised when she learned that Taylor brought her own engagement ring.

Nick questioned why Brooke still wanted this merry-go-round. "Do you really want to be bounced around that like that? Sit in some holding pattern?" he asked. "It's just hard to let go," Brooke admitted, before Nick made a declaration.

"I know I told you I was going to Italy. But I'm not going now. Not when you're like this. It's time for you to pick up the pieces, Brooke. And I'm going to help you do that. You're not alone," Nick said, as Brooke tried to smile.

The smile didn't last long as she couldn't get the thought of the proposal out of her mind. "I didn't think it would come to this. An engagement. A ring. A commitment. It never lasts. Not with them," she noted.

"With him," Nick corrected, pointing out that Ridge could never commit to anyone for long.

"My guess is it will be the same thing again. He's going to leave Taylor, break her heart, and then come crawling back to you. Don't let it happen this time. You've got a chance to change things, Brooke. And you've got something else going for you. You have another choice," Nick said. Brooke finally allowed Nick to pull her into an embrace.
