The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, June 3: Luna begs and pleads for Finn's love

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Ridge and Taylor shared some close moments in Eric's living room after Ridge canceled his afternoon meeting. "I am loving my life right now," Taylor said. She gushed about her happiness, their love, and Steffy and Finn's life. "You can just feel the love between Steffy and Finn," she added.

"Finn's a good guy. Good husband, good father, despite the unfortunate people in his life," Ridge sighed. Taylor then got a text that her patient could make an appointment, so Ridge and Taylor had to postpone their midday date.

Before Taylor left, they discussed taking Kelly and Hayes to Eric's house for a few days to give Steffy and Finn some time on their own. The discussion then returned to Luna. "Dealing with Sheila is bad enough, but finding out that Luna is Finn's daughter was a lot, for all of us, but especially Steffy," Taylor said. Ridge blamed Bill for the problem because he helped set Luna free.

Finn once again reassured Li that he would never let Luna into his life, but Li wasn't sold. "You're such a good man. A loving, loyal father. But you can never think of Luna as your daughter. First and foremost, she is a murderer who tried to kill your wife," Li stated.

Li also warned Finn not to feel sorry for Luna. "I know you can handle your own life, but Luna is extremely manipulative. She has this way of thinking that none of what happened was her fault, that if she only had a father in her life...," Li said.

When Finn referred to Luna as his daughter, Li became alarmed. Finn claimed it was a fact and nothing could change it, just like Sheila was his birth mother.

Steffy was terrified when she saw Luna standing in her living room and picked up her phone to call the police. Luna warns her that she shouldn't do that. "It would be a big mistake if you did," Luna said.

Steffy reminded Luna that Finn wanted nothing to do with her. "He would if he didn't think that you would attack him for it," Luna whined. Steffy ordered Luna to get out, but Luna wouldn't listen. She begged Steffy to listen to her. "I know you want me to just disappear and pretend like I didn't exist. But I do exist, Steffy. I'm your husband's flesh and blood. And I need Finn to be a part of my life. I need you to let him," Luna pleaded.

"Finn doesn't want to have a life with you, Luna. You want to live in this fantasy world where everything has been forgotten, that Finn finally embraces you as his daughter, but it doesn't work that way. You're a murderer, remember? You tried to kill Tom and Hollis. You left me in that cage to die."

Luna again insisted that she wasn't the same person anymore. "I'm paying for my crimes, Steffy. Not the way you want me to, but all my life I wanted to know who my father was, and now I have the chance to know him, and you're keeping him from me. Honestly, it's worse than a jail cell, Steffy. It's torture," Luna cried.

Steffy was floored when Luna called her heartless. "I'm heartless. Luna, you tried to kill me," Steffy pointed out. Luna became discombobulated and told Steffy this wasn't how she imagined things going. "I came here to plead my case and somehow get through to you, but now I just made things worse and you're digging your heels in deeper. You're just making it more impossible for me to have a relationship with my dad," Luna lamented.

Steffy demanded that Luna accept reality, but Luna couldn't do it. "Can you please just give me a break? Haven't I proven to you that I'm no longer a threat to you?" Luna asked.

As Luna continued to plead with Steffy, Finn walked in and rushed to his wife's side. He told Luna she couldn't be there, but Luna kept on begging. "Don't shut me out. I can't take it anymore. I don't know what I'd do. Everyone else has turned their back on me. Please. Don't let Steffy make you turn your back on me, too," she said.

In her apartment, Sheila thought about all that Luna said to her, enticing her to join her plan to eliminate Steffy so Finn could be a part of their lives. When Deacon returned, he wondered why his wife was lost in thought and wondered if something was wrong.

Deacon went on about how proud he was of Sheila for resisting having a relationship with Finn and Hayes. Sheila told Deacon she was thinking about her other grandchild, Luna. Deacon thanked Sheila for sacrificing her relationship with Luna for his sake.

"I love you and I never want to betray that love or that trust and that's exactly what I would be doing if I kept doing what I am right now," Sheila said, confusing Deacon. "What are you doing?" Deacon asked. "I've been meeting with Luna," Sheila replied.
