Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, May 12, 2025, when Liam cried a lot of tears, but still didn't spill all.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Hope and Steffy continued their cry fest as Hope absorbed the fact that Liam was dying. Steffy repeated that Liam didn't want anyone to know because he refused to be a burden to his loved ones. Hope said she'd never consider Liam to be a burden.
Hope began grasping at straws, insisting that Liam get a second and even a third medical opinion. "We can't lose him, Steffy," Hope said. She knew there was something off when Liam was there earlier, but never imagined that Liam was dying. "I thought you deserved to know. You're the mother of his child," Steffy said.
Hope looked at a framed photo of Beth and Liam. "You're telling me that one day, we're going to have to tell our daughters that their dad isn't going to be around anymore?" Hope asked in tears. She said she needed to see Liam right away. Steffy agreed, but reminded Hope that Laim didn't know she told Hope the truth.
Hope thanked Steffy for telling her, so Steffy did the mature thing. She took Hope's hand and told her that she was a part of her life. "And we're going to help our children face this, okay?" Steffy said. "Together, we're going to get through this as a family."
Bill and Liam met up at Il Giardino, the first time seeing each other since Liam collapsed in Bill's living room after their big blowup. Bill was glad that Liam reached out. "I hate the way that I left things," Bill said. Liam said he had received Bill's texts and apologized for not responding.
Bill explained that he was trying to give Liam space. "I am truly sorry. I love you, Liam. And I value you. I said things that I shouldn't have said and I didn't mean," Bill said. Liam was sure they could get past it. "Life is too short to get hung up on a disagreement," Liam told his father.
Liam tried to tell Bill that he was dying, but Sheila didn't give him a chance. She sat down at their table and thanked Bill for getting her granddaughter out of prison. "You acted like a father to Luna and that changed her. You know that's true or you never would have gotten her that pardon," Sheila said.
Liam hated even hearing about Luna and expressed that sentiment. Sheila went on and on about how Luna had changed, but Bill said it was too late. Sheila finally walked away, leaving Bill to try to once again explain why he helped Luna. Liam felt Bill had to have had his reasons, even if they didn't make sense to Liam.
Liam tried to get the words out about his tumor, but he couldn't do it. Instead, he choked back tears as he told his dad how much he admired and respected you. "Your presence and your guidance and your influence. You made me a man, and then you made me this man. I'm so grateful to you," Liam said.
Bill was left a little confused, but also touched. "That was the best thing that anyone has ever said to me. I don't even have words, son," Bill said. "Life is short. And it's fleeting. And I need you not to forget how much I love you," Liam cried.
"I can't imagine my life without you in it. You've made me a better father. A better man. At least I'm trying to be a better man," Bill said. He also didn't accept Liam's resignation. "You're going to take Spencer into the future and you're going to have everything that you deserve," he added, before Liam left to see Hope.
When Liam got to Brooke's mansion, he asked Hope what was wrong. Hope claimed she was fine, but couldn't imagine her life or Beth's life without him in it. That prompted Liam to express how Beth is the light of his life. Hope held back tears as Liam talked about cherishing every moment he had with Beth.
"I took our love for granted. And I feel like I took you for granted, and I am sorry," Hope said, surprising Liam. Hope didn't tell Liam she knew about his condition, but she was still in tears, which brought Liam to tears.
"You know I am always going to be with you, one way or another," Liam said before pulling Hope in for an embrace.
At Steffy's house, Finn told Luna she couldn't just show up out of nowhere. Luna said she wanted to know Finn, but he pointed out she had known him her entire life. Luna claimed knowing him as a cousin wasn't the same as knowing him as a father.
"I'm not the same person who committed those awful crimes," Luna insisted. Finn admitted that he felt things might have been different if he had been there for her growing up. That gave Luna an opening to beg Finn to tell her there was at least a chance he could let her into his life. When Finn told her there wasn't, she accused him of only saying that because of Steffy.
"Steffy is my wife. We have a family. That is the most important thing in my life. I will protect us from anything or anyone, Luna," Finn said. Luna was surprised that Finn thought she would hurt his family. "You have before," Finn said. Luna still didn't understand why Finn couldn't forgive her.
"We can't go back. What we might have had is lost. You're a grown woman and you've done horrible things," Finn reminded Luna. "We won't ever have a relationship," he added, as Steffy walked through the door.
