The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 19-23: Carter and Hope reuinite, Daphne is crushed, and Brooke doesn't take no for an answer

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Hope agreed to put their rivalries to rest once and for all. They hugged and said they would be there for Liam and their daughters, and Steffy told Hope she considered her family. Steffy invited Hope to return to Forrester Creations, and Hope accepted. Liam got closer to Finn as they discussed his situation, and he asked Finn to be there for his daughters. Finn gave Liam some semi-false hope, but tests showed there had been no change in his condition. Steffy, Finn, and Liam went to see Dr. Buckingham, who told Liam that he was a great candidate for chemo and radiation, but also warned him about how it could affect his quality of life. Liam didn’t want to try any treatments as he remembered how his mom suffered, and he didn’t want to do that to his own daughters, despite Steffy’s pleas to fight. An upset and confused Carter shared with Daphne what he had overheard between Hope and Liam. Daphne cooed that Hope was no good for him, and wanted him to be with her instead. Ridge was stunned when Hope returned to the office. Hope told him that she and Steffy were a work in progress but getting along now. She couldn’t tell him the real reason, but did apologize for the coup. Brooke thought that if Hope and Steffy could work out their issues, she and Ridge could, too. Katie tried to convince Ridge that he didn’t need to keep his word with Taylor, and that he would eventually break her heart, so he should do it now and just get back with Brooke already. Ridge reconfirmed his commitment to Taylor instead, but still had moments of reflection of Brooke in a Portofino wedding gown. Taylor confronted Brooke and told her to snap out of it; she's not getting her destiny. Hope went to Carter’s loft and told him he’d misunderstood everything he overheard and that she loved him. She explained about Liam’s diagnosis. Carter promised to be there for Hope. Daphne was upset when Zende, Will, and Electra told her that Hope was back at Forrester. Zende knew that Daphne loved Carter, but she was hopeful there was no future for Carter and Hope. Carter asked Daphne to come over to his apartment while Hope went back to the office, and he told her that he and Hope were back together. Daphne told him au revoir.
