The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 26-30: Hope and Carter get engaged, Luna doesn't understand the rules

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge wanted to understand why Hope was rehired, but Steffy couldn’t explain without telling him about Liam, so she made excuses instead. Despite warnings from her grandmother, Luna decided to start texting Will and flirting with him, but he wasn’t responding. Eventually, Will told Electra, who was livid that Luna was still bothering him. Electra tracked down Luna at Il Giardino and told her to knock it off or else, but Luna was entertained. The two argued until Sheila broke it up. Electra went back to the office, where Katie and Will admonished her for poking the bear, or rather, antagonizing a killer. Electra stood firm in her new badassery. Sheila scolded Luna for making trouble and warned that she could see so much of her in her granddaughter. Sheila asked Luna to back off, but she became obsessed with blaming Steffy as well. Sheila could see that Luna didn’t understand that there were consequences for her previous actions. She suggested that Luna get out of L.A. Luna begged her not to abandon her, but Sheila said no good would come of her staying in town, and she should start somewhere new. Daphne told Steffy that she was hurt; she didn’t know Steffy had rehired Hope to work at Forrester. It wasn’t how she wanted to spend her time, and Daphne told her friend she was returning to Paris immediately. Deuce showed up to take Daphne to the airport and fly her back on the company jet. Meanwhile, Carter and Hope were reuniting ht his loft. Carter got Hope to shut her eyes so he could light candles and pull out a ring box. Carter got on one knee and proposed. Hope hesitated in responding as she wanted to discuss how their relationship had gone wrong first. Eventually, Hope accepted Carter’s proposal and spent the night. The next day, they went in late to work together and announced their engagement to Steffy, Brooke, and Ridge. Later, Hope told Liam that she took his advice and forgave Carter. Finn helped Liam get through some tough moments of dizziness and listened to him weigh out his options of whether or not to get treatment for his brain tumor. Liam didn’t want to make his family watch him suffer, but he also didn’t know how to say goodbye to his daughters. He asked Finn to be there for Kelly. Kelly played with her dad and said she never wanted to leave him. Finn chimed in to tell her that sometimes things change and people leave.
