Steffy and Hope sat working together in Eric's office as Steffy asked Hope if she had told Liam about her engagement. Hope said she had and relayed how happy Liam was for her. He had even been the one who encouraged her to forgive Carter.

"I meant what I said. And yes, we still have a long way to go, but I am really happy for you. I really want what's best for you," Steffy said. Hope agreed she would also like to see Steffy happy. She knew Steffy had to be under a lot of stress, especially after learning that Luna was Finn's daughter.

"I appreciate your concern, but Luna is the last person I want to think about right now," Steffy said. Ridge walked in and heard the name Luna, so he put in his two cents, going off on Bill being foolish enough to get her out of prison. "If she's coming after our family, we're ready," Ridge declared.

The three of them went on and on about Bill's actions and the horrors of Luna, with Ridge remarking that Bill was a narcissist. Hope noted how Deacon was crushed by Tom and Hollis' deaths. Ridge oddly expressed how sorry he was for Deacon's loss.

Steffy recalled how crazy Luna was last summer. "I saw it in her eyes. There was nothing there. She's completely vacant. I saw it when I was in that cage," she said. "She loved the thought of me dying...she can say that she's a changed person, but I know she's not and we have to do everything in our power to keep her away from me and my family."

Steffy expressed how relieved she was that Finn was not pursuing a relationship with Luna, but he still somehow felt responsible for how she turned out because he wasn't there for her growing up — but Steffy didn't care. "Trusting Luna is a mistake none of us can afford to make," Steffy said ominously.

In the design office, Will took Electra to task for going after Luna. "She's dangerous. She kills people," Will reasoned. Electra just shrugged him off. "I will not let anyone bully or disrespect us," she said.

Will insisted there was nothing Luna could do to snag him. "She's desperate for attention. Do not give it to her," Will advised. Katie arrived to interrupt them and was alarmed to hear that Luna had threatened Electra. Will and Katie both tried talking sense into Electra, but she insisted she was going to stand up for herself with Luna.

Electra brought up Remy. "He made me feel small and powerless. I told myself I'd never let that happen again," Electra said. Will and Katie were surprised to hear that Sheila came to her defense when she confronted Luna.

Sheila brought Luna back up to her apartment to talk privately. "What? I'm too much to handle even for the infamous Sheila Carter, and now I have to leave Los Angeles? If you love me, then why don't you want me?" Luna asked.

Sheila couldn't believe that Luna was ready to throw away her freedom for Will, but Luna insisted she was just having fun. Luna claimed to be kidding when she threatened Electra. "You don't get that luxury of playing with threats. Not after you've killed two people," Sheila warned, reminding Luna of all the mistakes she had made when she was young.

"Then be here for me. I don't care about Will or Electra. All I want is to be close to my family. I want you and I want my dad," Luna cried. "I never knew that Finn was my father, but you knew that he was your son and you gave him up anyway."

Sheila knew Luna was just saying that to hurt her. So, she gave Luna a warning. "I saw you becoming obsessed. People like us walk a very fine line, and you were going to cross it. I saw you threatening Electra. I saw a flash in your eyes, and it's a flash I know all too well," Sheila said.

Luna insisted she wasn't going to hurt Electra, but Sheila felt she would, that Electra would push her, and Luna would explode. Sheila even admitted she should have started a life somewhere else years ago. Luna pointed out that Sheila now had a good life.

"You should see the looks I get. The scrutiny. People are either afraid of me or they think that I'm a joke. There's not a single day that goes by that the old Sheila doesn't want to come out," Sheila explained. She warned Luna that if she stayed in L.A., she would backslide and needed to start a new life somewhere — anywhere — else.

Luna begged Sheila to change her stance. "You dreamed about having grandchildren? I dreamed about this. I dreamed about having a real connection with someone in my family, someone who cared about me," Luna pleaded. Sheila still wasn't sold, but Luna wanted to take the risk that she wouldn't backslide.

Sheila wasn't sold. She saw Luna fixating on Will and was terrified for her granddaughter because she knew her own self. She reminded Luna that she had to hide her relationship with Luna from Deacon. Luna couldn't believe Sheila was choosing Deacon over her.

"Murdering people comes with consequences, most of which you have been able to walk away from. You not being able to just show up here is not unfair. It breaks my heart to have to say this to my own granddaughter, but you need to start a new life," Sheila advised.

Luna didn't want to leave her dad and insisted that Steffy was the problem. "If it weren't for her, you'd have a relationship with your son and grandson, and I'd have a relationship with my father. Grandma, what if Steffy wasn't an issue anymore? We'd be this one, big, happy family...Think about how different things would be if we got rid of Steffy once and for all," Luna said with a creepy look in her eyes.
