The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 5-9: Steffy told Hope that Liam is dying, Luna forced a visit

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge told Brooke yet again that he didn’t want to be with her and that he wasn’t leaving Taylor. Brooke assumed he felt torn or just didn’t want to hurt Taylor and told him to just come home to her already. Deacon was shocked when he found Carter at Brooke’s house, trying to reunite with Hope. Deacon made it clear to Carter that he didn’t want him near his daughter and threatened to beat him up again if he had to. He later tried to convince Hope to try to get back together with Liam. Hope asked her dad to let her make her own relationship choices. Deacon also told Brooke that he thought Liam and Hope belonged together. Liam went to visit Hope but didn’t tell her he was dying. Instead, he told her how much he appreciated her. They had an emotional flashback to key moments in their lives together. When Steffy found out Liam still didn’t tell Hope, she decided to take matters into her own hands and tell her herself. Hope was shocked, and the two women bonded, talking about how to be mothers through this crisis and work together for the sake of Liam, Kelly, and Beth. Meanwhile, Liam went to Il Giardino and invited Bill to join him. He said he’d happily come right over. Luna also visited Il Giardino and told her grandmother that she was enjoying her new life but was missing her father. She wanted a relationship with Finn and Hayes, but felt that Steffy was wrongfully keeping them apart. Sheila understood as she had said those same words plenty of times before. Luna worked herself up and decided to do something about it. She headed over to the cliff house and walked in, shocking Finn. Luna claimed the door was open and she made sure Steffy’s car wasn’t there before entering. Finn told Luna she couldn’t be there, but heard her out as she implored him to let her be part of his life. “I miss you, Dad, I love you,” Luna told him. Luna said that Finn was a great guy and not the type of father to turn his back on his own kid.
